They complain that all rap talks about is sex and materialism, despite the fact all genres talk about the same damn thing. In actuality, what really annoys people about rap is the black people involved.

@teeray461 No dude, it's overrated. Nowhere near the Godfather level, or even Goodfellas. I don't movie gets as much love as it does. It's not the worst, but definitly not one of the best.

@0burp I disagree. I don't like rap. Never heard it in a song or anything. Its a classic for just that reason. It shows the same thing history shows power trips will end up killing you as well as everyone around you (Friends, Family). Which is exactly what happened in this films. So you can say its overrated, but in reality it teaches a better lesson than 90% of movies out there. But I do agree that it became more well known in the best 10 years so the rap thing is part of something...
