Conca made the right move. For only half-season he has established a Messi-like reputation in China. Everybody is so happy. The fans are excited, the club is winning championships and himself is making a lot of money. If he did not move to China, the best further achievement he could expect is warming up bench for Messi in team Argentina.
The truth is the chinese club paid 10 mln USD for 3.5 years to have this dude while the european estimate he worth 7 mln euro, not that expensive. He will earn 4.6 mln USD a year after tax, at least tribbled than his current earning.
@olivettimp Yeah but the Brazilian leagues don't have the same level of players, or even the same numbers of supporters. Whenever i see a Brazilian game the stadiums are always nearly empty (apart from the local games)
@flimda Oh my god haha. Always empty? Maybe u r watching a game of a small team, try watching Gremio, Flamengo, Fluminense, Internacional... It's always full, believe me. =)
And the level of players, if u think that most of the best players in the other leagues are brazilian, like Thiago Silva, Robinho, David Luiz, Pato, and others, the level is almost the same. And Santos has Neymar, Ganso; Flamengo has Ronaldinho; Fluminense has Deco and Fred, Sao Paulo has Rogerio Ceni and Luis Fabiano.
@olivettimp The European leagues have the best players from every country in the world :) Not just Brazilians. Brazil isn't even the team it used to be anymore, Ronaldinho was playing terribly in MIlan before he moved home to Brazil. Deco is too old for the top European leagues and the other players you listed are mostly beginning their careers as professional footballers. Of course the big teams in Brazil always have full stadiums but they are all less than 50,000 capacity.
@flimda I guess u dont really watch brazilian games, Ronaldinho is playing very well in Flamengo and Deco in Fluminense, yea the players are starting their careers, but in 1 or 2 years they'll play in Barcelona, Real Madrid or Milan, the top european teams.
@flimda Dude.. you are wrong.. brazilian league is the hardest in the world, just check the table. The difference is minimal. very different from the europeans, where you see just 2 teams fighting for the tittle. And our economy is getting better and better, this is why we can bring back and keep young players like Neymar in our country.
You should search before typing that amount if bullshit.
@flimda It's the best championship, the others can't even be compared to Campeonato Brasileiro in terms of evenly matched teams Don't change to focus of our debate, you don't know our football so you shouldn't be saying all that crap. Period.
@JBV8190 So the Brazilian league has better players than Messi, Iniesta, Rooney, Torres, Ozil, Ronaldo, Valdes, McGugan, Suarez, Silva, Aguero, Villa, Pedro, Nani, Drogba, Ribery, Evra, Sneijder, Eto'o, Van Persie, Buffon, Modric, Nilmar, Xavi, Fabregas, Vidic, Puyol, Cahill, Kompany, Daniel Alves, Robinho, Pato, Julio Cesar, Marcelo, Lucio?
The problem with the Brazilian league is that it most of its greatest players when they are young. It needs more players like Pele and Neymar in Brazil :P
I am struggling to understand why this Chinese club have paid such ridiculous money to a player the world barely know? Any chinese sporting experts on here that can answer this question?
Not too hard to understand... China (Asia) is less attractive to any good soccer players. They have to pay premium to get someone like Conca. For Conca, it's definitely a tradeoff between career and money. He was on the edge by being drafted by either Brazil or Argentina national squad, but going to China definitely kills the future possibility.
@BMWinLinE6 China actually paid less money than hes worth, hes brazil league mvp, he wants to go just like a lot of former nba players who aim for the big market
he is a good player, clearly nobody pas attention to the brazilian league...

But in Brazilian League, there are 12 big teams that can win the League, and that was Fluminense. Sorry :/

@JBV8190 Maybe it is the hardest league in the world... but not the BEST league in the world.
There are 5 or maybe 6 leagues in Europe that are better than the Brazilian leagues.

@JBV8190 Look up the English Championship (the 2nd division in the English football leagues)
It has had a different league winner for the last 15 seasons :) And it also has a higher crowd per game average than any South American league.
:)
flimda 3 months ago
@flimda It's not a top league, Serie B in brazil also has always different champions.
And we are talking about football, not about crowd or structure, this I realize europe is ahead.

@JBV8190 So the Brazilian league has better players than Messi, Iniesta, Rooney, Torres, Ozil, Ronaldo, Valdes, McGugan, Suarez, Silva, Aguero, Villa, Pedro, Nani, Drogba, Ribery, Evra, Sneijder, Eto'o, Van Persie, Buffon, Modric, Nilmar, Xavi, Fabregas, Vidic, Puyol, Cahill, Kompany, Daniel Alves, Robinho, Pato, Julio Cesar, Marcelo, Lucio?

@flimda Brazilian league is the most exciting league for the teams are very even, are bitter rivals.
It´s a 20 teams chmpionship in 38 games and usually about 10 always can be champions.
And every time there are better players playing here for Brazil´s economy is getting stronger (7 th in the world)
Best south american players are too coming to play in Brasil no for it pais much better.
There are many world class players playing here, just study and you will discover that.

@flimda No there isn't. Better leagues mean more compettion, something that the europeans league lack.
The best league in europe, is the UEFA Champion's League, the others are all under the brazilian.
It's clear you don't even watch the brazilian league, this is why you say such non-sense.
