  • You know in Vietnam you can buy a Yamaha electric bicycle for $268. The exact bike sells in San Francisco for $1200.

  • Now add a alternator to the front wheel and double the travel distance.

  • Hats off to you Japan ,the bike is a real leader for the furture

  • made with very old roller magnet technology complain about fuel cost and keep complaining till they get the message they have made enough money through fuel already its time they told us the truth about roller magnet technology i dont want to keep paying for fuel and nuclear power anymore

  • Once again, the genius of Japan shines through. Just think where we would be without Honda, Toyota and all the other cutting edge Japanese companies.

  • its a good idea but look clumsy.. I think someone was watching akira just before designing..

  • Awesome! $2100.00 US? That's a ride. Bravo Japan.

  • just another slap in the face of the lazy fatass americans the rest of the world is going to be leading the way to the future while we sit around and wait for our big brother to give us something because we deserve it

  • Daisuke Ito!!!

    He's a great driver!!

  • LIKE TETSUO IN aKIRA

  • Very nice. This stuff will only get better, Combine this tech within the roads too, and those Saudis can go and drink that oil.

  • Tron yeah

  • dosent look as shity as other lokking bikes

  • Wow that is really cool.. Amazing for short distance journey's, charges fully every night, a bit more work on the battery life and there's no reason why this can't take off

  • Daisuke you are right MAN !

  • I'd rather have a Hayabusa

  • I would trade my car for one of these, just saying.

  • All countries can get rid of poverty if they use free energy.

  • Very cool stuff! But for my part, I really dislike vehicule with no sound; people around already don't care about you when on 2 wheels, if you don't make any noise on top of that, you're dead for sure.... :-/

  • EXTREMELY comfortable seating position when compared to a standard motorcycle.

  • I really wanna see this thing going highway speeds. Looks friggin epic, like the bikes from Akira. Very futuristic. ^_^

  • @NeoIsrafil I was just going to comment that it looked like someone watched Akira before designing it.

  • Revamp the styling so you don't look like a pansy riding it to work and maybe it'll have its place in the market.

  • thats so cool!!!!!!!!!!!

  • epic

  • Tetsuo called. he said he wants his bike painted the way it was before you return it

  • Brilliant do more things to help others and yourselves :)

  • omg this news presenter look like the Japanese guy from Mythbuster......= =

  • @dumdidolabumbuladido all Japanese guys look the same ;)

  • Low centre of gravity looks very stable, battery technology improving so ... yes getting there.

  • I saw this during a trip to Hong Kong, recently.

    Looks way cooler up-close.

  • Its the Japanese Batmobile!

  • It will do no harm to the enviroment?? Yeah, because electricity comes from magic!!!

  • @peterhh14 I have no idea what you have been smoking, but electricity can easily be obtained without harming the environment. For example, only a few square miles of the Sahara desert is needed for solar cells to provide Europe with electricity.

  • TETSUOOOOOO

  • look cool to drive

  • I'd really like to get one of these.

  • it looks very nice!!...a cool paintjob on it and it will make a perfect bike...i think it is confortable too!!

  • I WANT ONE

  • looks like the same idea that was used for Kenadas bike in Akira

  • i want one ¬.¬

  • 2100 USD? OMFG! That thing is mine as soon as it's there :D

  • @EvulDeeds , the small scooter was 2100 usd , bigger bike is probaply like 6000.... FU!

  • Sustainable and intelligent methods must be introduced into human conduct. We must believe in the impossible, hope for the insane. Wake up!

  • TETSUO!!!

  • @Antichrys EPIC!!!

  • unbelievably unconscious comments people, we dont take stuff like this serious and thats why we are still being sold inefficient gasoline! rise and shine morons, oh and dont be mad the japanese came up with it first, get used to it, they like being efficient instead of being fat

  • @snotechh , don't worry, people aren't listening. they will still pay for expensive gas, especially while the gas is still climbing and showing signs that it's running out. they will start thinking about it when electric bikes are fives times more expensive than they are now. then they missed the boat. your right my friend, they would rather be fat than effiecient.

  • @snotechh Yeah theres no fat japanese people, Italians are pasta eating plumbers, canadians hunt moose all day, all irish people are drunk all day, germans are angry, french are gay.. good stereotype faggot.

  • @snotechh with the existing tech these days there really isn't much need to burn fuel for power.

No need to wonder "what if" anymore.

We either face the facts now or pay the price later, loads of people

are doing it already, how can people be so bloody blind?

  • looks like a shrunk down akira bike to me cool!

  • i think that theres some electric drag bikes that do almost 2hundys

  • probably should wait for another few years before they improve their motors

  • that will be a big hit in us if you can sell it at $2100.....chinese made electric motorcycles with 4000w motor are now selling for $4,000

  • I want one!
