There is no such thing as a stage in real Irish pub music. It's not the same. The performer should be in the crowd and the crowd should be the performers. Further more there wouldn't be sum eijit recording it either. It would spoill the atmosphere. Still great performance, however more exhibition music than pub music.

The Blue Moon is not the name of the bar. The Blue Moon is the name of a brewery in the U.S. that specializes in making authentic replicas of Belgian wheat ales. They do quite a good job at it, too. A lot of reels sound increadibly different based on the tempo. I've just started learning to play the Irish Flute, and the only piece I can play successfully (meaning not bloody awful) is the Star of Munster. I've experimented with playing it slow and fast, and I have to say I like both. Most American music you can't do that with, so Irish music has a one up on America. Erin go bragh!
