you do know, it really stands for Washington, DC, right? Decent Christian was probably just to appeal to Forefront Records or their fundamentalist/conservative fans.

@theassassin43 Why would it stand for Washington DC? DC Talk was not from that area originally and would have no reason to name their band after that city. Their music isn't political either, so you can't go that route.

debatable. toby is the best writer and producer. he knows what people want and he knows how to give it to them. tait and kev have better voices and also can play instruments. toby can play bass on an ammature level i believe.

They're on hiatus. They wanted to grow in their musical abilities. Originally, they were going to only make one solo album then make a dc Talk album. As of now, Toby will be putting out his 4th, Tait is the new lead singer of the Newsboys, and Kevin Max and a few albums out as well. They have no plans on reuniting in the near future but they are suppose to do some sort of reunion eventually.

They aren't rumors. It's fact. They changed the promo pics and everything and there are tons of videos of him as the lead singer. And no, Peter won't be going solo. He's retiring to spend time with the wife. But he'll still be writing and producing and he'll help out the Newsboys on the albums. Maybe even some background vocals. Who knows.

Yeah, hiatus. Right. The last year I believed that was 2000. I think that IF they ever make another album or do another tour, everyone will call it a "reunion" not "off hiatus".

It'd call it an extended hiatus. They all still call themselves members of dc Talk as if it they still exist. Which they do.

No they won't. Members of dc Talk will. Ex: Sugar Bear, Mark Lee Townsend, etc... People are misunderstanding it. They'l pobably be instructors. It'd be a big deal if they were reuniting.
