BF2142 has been and always will be my favorite game. No other game is as fast paced. I know of no other game that allows you to play 64 player battlefield scenarios at such a pace. Sure, newer games like BC2 have batter graphics..but they are so slow! And c'mon.. hover tanks, mechs, jet helis, titans, invisible camo and all the other fun stuff is hard to beat. Man I wish EA could find it in itself to make another game as awesome as 2142.

No - this is PC only (although I think you can get it on Mac). I've been playing games for 30 years and I've had more fun in 2142 than in any other game.

It's feeling it's age now though and player numbers have fallen but you can still get a decent game

if you dont have the latest patch you wont see any servers. you need version 1.50 now. its a free download. you cna google it and find it on a number of websites.

a half a gb to 2gb is a big difference, however, the cpu has to be fast and the video card (if you even have one - which could be the problem) has to also be decently fast. the requirement is a cpu of 1.7 ghz (p4) or above. a half gb memory (which u originally had) or more, and the video must be at least 128 mb memory at least. these are not high requirements.. maybe your pc is older.

At the screen after the intro movie, one of the options is retrieve info, I think the bottom one. You have to use the original login info or retrieve the info via the e-mail thingy. As far as the EA server is concerned, your oringinal install is currently "registered" and the new one you are trying after the install as invalid. When you originally installed the game, your pc connected to EA servers and save your login and password info with your cdkey. USE ORIGINAL LOGIN INFO FROM BEFORE.

It's probably because you have an older patch... go to Battlefield 2142 files and download the latest (and final) patch... there are usually atleast 150 servers up everyday.
