Pinochet was the best thing to happen to Chile. He brought the Free trade market of Capitilism, He cleaned up Santiago and the Crime. He allowed for more personal freedoms (espicialy towards the middle/end of his rule). Pinochet may have used force, but, looking back, without him Chile would be just another Mexico.
