Maggots didn’t CURE the ulcer.

They cleaned out infected bacteria which would otherwise rapidly made condition of the wound worse.

Manual de-bridement causes major damage to already delicate tissues, making wound worse.

Frightening aspect = so-called “consultants” have not a clue + cannot agree an effective treatment between themselves.

The fact that some doctors don’t know about the maggot treatment is worrying reminder doctors know nothing.

We don’t know how to fix it, so we cut it off.
