Thank you so much for this lovely recording. I visited Helsinki in March and for the first time I heard and saw a real Kantele being played live. I did cry. They were tears of exquisite happiness. That's nice.Hot spring differ from Fin's Sauna.Sauna is also enjoyable & makes us relax really.I know many hot springs almost everywhere in Japan.I enjoy sauna every sunday.

Rich in resonance, but also.. I've (almost) never seen as many nuances in a single instrument!

And.. Is this inspired by the Japanese traditional song, "Sakura"? Especially the intro.. I play it on my guitar, and it's composed of harmonics, as "Olgagusli" plays in the beginning..

When I first saw the Olgagusli's video, I felt something common with Japanese "Sakura".

This was the first song I played when I got my kantele. I don't know yet how to play beautiful harmonics...

Don't know, or know but you're not technically able do do them in a song?

If the first, you simply find the correct spot on the Kantele's string and hold gently on it, strike the string with your other finger and release the finger you held on the spot equivalent to a Harmonic..

That's at least how you do it the Classical Guitar.. ;)
