you really need to tell him that youre vomiting. if he says anything stupid be brave and go look for a better dentist cause theres no way to run telling the truth if you want to take care of your teeth. dare to tell as soon as possible cause time is running... no fear and dont be ashamed of who you are and whats a part of you.

If (like me) you cant stop the disease, you can at least save your teeth, get a night dental splint to use when you purge in that way the acid doesnt touch your teeth. Ive had all my top teeth crowned at about 20 grand, good luck honey Im still in therapy.

Yes I did you can get cheap once but the dentist once clings to you teeth really well.

Yeah I heard something happens similar if you brush your teeth straight after eating sweets... so I always rinse my mouth with water before I brush.

I've been dealing with it for 6 yrs. Im a lot better than I was but it still looms over me. The one thing I crave is to talk to some one at the other end. Although Ive had therapy, part of me has trouble trusting them cause theyve not put their bodies through this and thus, dont really understand how it'll react. So what Im asking is if anyone would be interested in sharing their recovery story with me.

omgosh yes!

i once got a cheesecake out of my nans bin..and purged it all.

my nan is now dead :/

and i feel so bad about it all now.

But i hate being bulimic..i feel fat and disgusting for over eating then throwing up..even though i lose, but my teeth feel horrible and i purge blood.

I hate people who glamourise eating disorders.

Not at all. There are many men out there suffering with bulimia. One of the newer episodes of Intervention featured a man who was a bulimic.

No, I have it; don't worry, you're not the only one! I uset to think I was a freak, because I was a male, eating disorder sufferer.
