Lee's confession is one of many sources, produce the others; I would not be surprised if there weren't any. That Joseph Smith sent Rockwell to murder Boggs is, I am sure, another lie; but considering Boggs tried to murder us, it would have served him well.

ANAME, You weren't in the endowment ceremonies I've posted, which are firmly established. That would be the original and pure version, as it is original, c 1840-1890. Mormonism is polytheistic because it posits many gods, all born into a multiverse of pre existing matter. But they became gods by first being men and then perfected into gods. It's not like the Hierarchy and the intrinsic nature of Mormonism changes because of the absence, any more than polygamy

The sources I was asking for were the "other sources" you mentioned in connection with John Lee, the supposed extermination order issued by Rigdon, and the assasination order by Smith. The only reference you've given was John Lee's confession, which (as I understand it) comes from a book written posthumously by his lawer. You just accused three men of murder; you've got to have better evidence then than. Doctrine, which I understand, will wait.

@collision1003 If a police officer sees me, a white guy, in Camden City, New Jersey at one in the morning he knows im buying drugs. That's called good police work, and I shouldn't fucking be there. All the racial things you're talking about do exist. They exist to a small point that isn't worth talking about. The other problems that you're talking about are major ones, and nobody in the white community can fix them. We can offer jobs and help. We CAN'T address the problems or we look racist.

Embracing every known issue and tieing it down with racial issues doesn't get anyone anywhere. Black people end up in prison because the young ones idolize the wrong people. The moral compass is broken. The rest of the poverty-level black people do not take the steps they need to become something better because they think they can't succeed. It's poison.

It was used again to describe the slums in Nazi Germany and Poland during WW2 only this time it was more of a requirement for the Jewish population to live there.

Historically words and phrases become colloquialisms and not only have different meanings in different societies but also in different times. The USA is probably the most glaring example of this. Colloquialisms not only can have different meanings at different times they, can have different meanings in different parts of the country in the same period in time. The argument about The Church's past is moot. The Church has NOTHING to apologize for. God doesn't care about political correctness. Whatever the Prophets did during the beginning of the restoration was necassary for the Church's progress.
