  • Goosebumps! I have thoroughly enjoyed your singing! What a big, wonderfully agile soprano voice!

  • I really don't have any comment because my mind is blown. Great job!!!

  • YOU'RE KOREAN =)

  • Awesome!!!!

  • wonderful voice! very expressiv

  • whoaaa this is just beautiful :...)

  • @sullivanj93 Let's wait 10 years and see what he can do then. I am almost sure his highest notes of falsetto will be around f-g-a5.

  • @Pancreotit Can u tell me what voice im having now..Im a 20 years old boy and could sing with my chest support up to a G5 ( mix voice with chest dominant ) and using my super headvoice to hit n sustain C#6..

  • @Secretzsavvy

Milenko Matijevik can reach b5 with mixed voice, but he's still a baritone=)

  • @Secretzsavvy most likely a tenor, you wouldnt be a coutertenor but you might also be a baritone who can just reach higher notes, and head voice doesn't count if your singing operatic style only falsetto counts

  • Tat's AWESOME! how did you sing so HIGH and LOUD, there's no mic rite?

  • That was...impressive, just really impressive... you must have the vocal range of a coloratura soprano or something

  • omg! you sing better than much of the girls that i ve heard heard before! congrats.

  • AMAZING!!! You have a fantastic voice! This is one of my favorite songs to sing! I absolutly love to sing the part at 1:15 :D

  • XDD dont worry about that!! your voice is beutiful! you're gifted!!

  • Old German composers are the best!! Great singing!

  • hmmm go figure... just is interesting...

  • I can't even sing that high even though I sing high

  • You do have a talent!

  • OMG!!! It's unbelievable!!! You are a boy!!!!!!!

  • /watch?v=lS2cqxguOuA

  • Bastante bueno, pero no está bien impostado!!! :/

  • Great voice!

  • Oh my Lord!!!!!Beautiful.

  • Amazinggggggggggggg

  • you sing this better than most females. its a compliment. keep it up

  • Awesome performance!!!!!!

  • is it falsesetto ? just curious.

  • @moa373 head voice

  • amazing... ;-)

  • Ach du libe! Wunderbar!!! I wish I can sing like this! Great job.

  • when i was 10 i could not get so high!

    i'm 16 and i'm a bass!

  • @MACHIASISHERE so you have a naturally deep voice?

  • Excellent projection and control. Not many can do this, even for some younger trebles.

And I commend you for being brave to sing this aria, especially as a counter tenor! =D

  • partecipa al concorso per voci online indetto dal blog Musicamore

  • not fair!! i'm a 16 year old GIRL soprano and you just kicked my butt with this aria.

  • Wow I love thus dude xx

  • Your Fantastic! Bravo!

  • Beautiful high notes.

  • This is wonderful for your young age! You have a lovely voice! Where are you training? Please ignore the comments of the many rude people on you tube.

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • What's your name? You need to advertise yourself. Your high notes are crystal clear and absolutely pitch perfect. Just open your mouth more. Make your notes rounder.

You put many a soprano to shame.

Good luck to you in your career.

  • You´re cool!

  • you are phenomenal person !!!!!

  • WOW!

  • Damn.

  • Sublime... I am amazed at your fabulous singin talent, but the title of the song is 'Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen'. If you can't write 'ö' you can also write Hoelle.

  • omg @_@ the F

  • So in tune... I love you.. Marry me...

  • hmm so this is countertenor ?

indeed true to its name.... :P

  • im surprised you didnt need to clasp your hands under your stomach and push into your diapragm to hit those notes and to hold them wow :D your better than an opera singer who uses that technique then :D good lungs and good vocals

  • just gorgeous; you are very talented. @ 57-1:02 reminded me of the opera singer on "The 5th Element"

  • pretty amazing, and with the right training into adulthood, he well be more amazing.

  • I love Queen of the Night... well done.

  • how do you manage to stay stay so open and supported even in the extremely high notes???

  • sounds like a soeone is beating a cat with a violin

  • fuck~~~~~~~~```` damn good

  • This guy doesn't know how to sing!! The voice he tries to practis is very hard... he has a good potential but needs to take a lot of music courses!!

  • OMG amazing

  • You have European heart as well as the Asian technical approach. A pleasure to listen to :)

  • Not bad, but some of the higher notes were a little troublesome getting the proper pitch or singing them at all.

  • This is great! I thought it was impossible for a boy to sing in such a voice. it's not like i know nothing about counter tenors, but you are different

  • sowas beschissenes hab ich ja noch nie gehört!

wolgang dreht sich sicher im grab um!!!

  • he is off tune a lot, watch jacques imbrailo and clint van der linde, they are quite a bit better

  • Needs to improve the posture and reduce the vibrato, it destructs

Also the delivery of the Aria, needs to be improve,

The trills were not delivered clearly

Amazing that he can reach the full register of such a demanding aria like this

    Nice F6, very clear

  • Wow... I'm delightfully surprised.. Good job.

  • Bava! magnifisint, This is one of my favorit songs. Keep singing, You give me goose bumps thank you keep it up lad.

  • Eres genial :D You're great kid, how many years have you been singing? I mean opera things :B oh, can you sing nessun dorma? :B anyway, you're great, I say it again. And just don't stop singing.

  • @sullivanj93 im not going to respond to you until you post a video of you sing because 1- i dont believe youre a day over 18 (i went on your profile and you have a myspace, also 93 suggests you were born in 1993) and 2- im not sure if youre tone def or something because apparently you think you can sing notes in the soprano octave without using falsetto.

    prove me wrong.

  • @fattyboyblue actualy ive seen basses belt b5's and if b5's are not in the soprano octave i dont know wut r.

  • You are absolutely fabulous! You remind me of myself when I was young. I lost my soprano voice when I was around 25 years old. Now I'm a bad tenor. Treasure your gift while you can and make a lot of recordings and videos, because after you grow older and lose your voice they are all you will have left. Your speed and agility are incredible! You are amazing! Good luck and God bless you and your divine throat!

  • @sullivanj93 Ive been singing opera for 16 years bud. Ive met a lot of countertenors they all use falsetto. If you can sing so high into the soprano register i would really like to hear that. post a video. because either consiously or subconsiously you will flip into falsetto around tenor high f. In my FALSETTO i can sing this song too just like this kid is using. There are some people whose chords never fully developed which leaved them in the boy soprano register(jarouski) learn you facts.

  • @fattyboyblue so then how does william mateuzzi sing an f5 in full mixed belkt voice? how do i sing it then?

  • @sullivanj93 thats absolutely false. if youre not using falsetto thats impossible. BESIDES. a tenor going beyond tenor high d sounds like hes singing in falsetto. i doubt the fact that any male unless he is some sort of rock screamer can sing up in the soprano register.

  • @sullivanj93 explain to me exactly how a bass can sing a high f over soprano high c without using falsetto and just using his diaphragm....

  • @sullivanj93 how exactly would a bass sing a high f over soprano high c with just using his diaphragm? im really curious to know. and

  • wow, im a 1st soprano and its difficult for me to do that

  • oh wow! i love counter tenors

  • That's so awesome!!!

  • eunuch...

  • DANG!!! OMG SO GOOD! So high! o.o

    :)

  • Wow.. That sounds awesome! But um... Do you get made fun of in school?

  • wow, the magic flute. thats good!!

  • @sullivanj93

That is not falsetto so he's not a bass he's mezzo-soprano

  • 0_0...thats...AWESOME! how do you get your voice so high?!

  • That, my friends, is know as Falsetto.

  • There is no possible way a boy his age could sing that well, or even in that key.

  • wow! you have an amazing voice. great power! i hope to god you're taking voice lessons to further train your voice, because you clearly have a lot of talent! good luck!

  • WOW

  • great sound!

  • someone outta check his nether regions.

  • are u sure ur not a castratti

  • SSIIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!!!!!

  • CUTE !!

  • THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME! xD! You guys, you know that a counter tenors voice has changed, it's just because they are god damn awesome at controlling their phalset (i dunno how to spell it XD) They are just awesome :P that this guy is able to sing this somehow is actually super well done XD I like it ^^

  • Good performance. One thing, you will end up hurting your voice in the long run. Singing with your mouth wide all the time hurts your throat and damages your voice. Try narrowing your mouth and getting the space in the mouth by dropping your jaw instead of making your mouth go wide. It improves your tone and sound.

  • If everyone closed their eyes, they would think its a woman.

  • Perfect !!!!

  • nice voice!! he should choose try vivaldi for sure!!

  • Comment removed

  • Loved it !

  • Pure Gold !!!!

  • The only impressive thing is that you're male and can sing the high notes... but that might just be because your voice hasn't changed yet.

  • He's still too young to determine for sure if he's actually a Counter Tenor wich more often is like a Mezzo-Soprano or alto. At age 16 he can still be pre-pubescent or just still in his puberty stage where he would be considered a treble voice or even still retain a choir boy's soprano type voice wich is eminent here. Another 5 years or so will give you his true voice where he probably can even end up a tenor or baritone..

  • @sicuro75 In the meantime, isn't he gonna blow out his pipes singing like this??

  • pretty good maybe it is the quality of the recording but in your lower registers it does not sound like your chords are closed all the way and your vibrato is a bit weary but i cant hit this so yea. nice job

  • AMAZING

  • At 16 to still have a treble voice is something..wow... wonder if you are still singing a treble at 18 now?

  • i dont know anything about music, but even i know that that was amazing!

  • spectacular clarity and high notes out of this world, bravo!

  • i saw several version but i am sorry i am not impressed

  • Excellent high notes!

  • unbelievable......omg

  • You hit the F! Omigosh!

  • Great !!!

  • omg NO WAY. that was incredible INCREDIBLE. wow...WOW i am speechless. BRAVO KID. bravoooooo

  • -I am absolutely amazed. Bravo! Bravo! I hope you have a great life sharing music to everyone. Music is the bloodstream of the universe and God knows we need more of it. Keep it up! Fantastic!

  • Bravissimo

  • nice

  • wow! so hight great voice!

  • Seems like everyone is talking during this?

  • :0 woooooooahhh holy crap.... hes really good!!!!!!

  • The best performance of this song by a youngster I can find on YouTube... I am very jealous

  • @TomorrowsBlogging pitchy and hardly the best by a nyoungster on you tube,,,,Robin Scholtz eats this kid alive.

  • nah dude Robin Scholtz gets owned by this guy sorry.

  • understatement of the century! Robin Scholtz doesn't sound good AT ALL compared to this! too bad that this recording wasn't miked a bit closer.

  • he sounds amazing

  • この歳でこの技術。

    そして、それよりもここまで極めようよ思った歌への想いに感動しました。

    ヘタなプロよりも音程を正確に出してる。これに年季とか感情が入ったらコワイ!

  • wow he is so amazing!!!

  • SKILL!

  • Wow! An amazing countertenor!! Flawlessly executed. Good countertenors are in demand these days. I'd love to hear more. Vivaldi, perhaps?

  • he sounds like snow white's evil stepmom

  • robin shlotz got this perfect!!!!!!

  • hes got the notes... can he get the words though?

  • O.O

    madre santa!

    yo quiero ser así =B

  • i sang this song lol ^^

i love this, you are absolutely amazing! =)

  • oh my god, this is simply beautiful :)

  • impressive!

  • wow. I can't hit those notes. :(

  • dang...is that a girl? or justin biebers friend?

  • Haha, you have my undying respect now :)

  • haha thanx

  • @sam00447 no its a guy sunging in a female voice

  • @sam00447 It's a countertenor, through a special kind of singing men are able to sing so high. It's a very old technique, btw, derived from the castrate singers from the vatican i think

  • @sam00447 lol xd

  • @sam00447 asian justin bieber friend

  • WHAT THE HELL! none of the soprano ones in my chorus could have done that! im so jealous of your falsetto.

  • Very nice, not a lot of people can hit those high notes. Keep it going.

  • wtf

  • Nice singing boy !

I wish I had this voice ! But puberty hits me!

  • They actually used to do that when operas were first introduced. They were called castrati's I believe.

  • You are 16, there is a russian guy, who sings as high as you in his 30-s.

  • Good for you;I hope you going to sing for a long time and enjoy it.

  • whahaha, I almost died when he called Bel Canto a HE ...

It's so plainly obvious it's a SHE xD

I'm just kidding ^^ It really was kind of funny though.

  • I don't know who or what Bel Canto lol. In fact I don't know much of that sort of thing. I am not a classical singer or anything like that and I am certainly not knowledgable in music theory. But I have reasons for the other stuff I said.

  • I didn't say "your opinions". I said "opinions" whichin this case would include those of Bel Canto, awesome as he must be :) When it comes to falsetto saying you sang in falsetto could have been really head voice. The difference between the two is more technical than perceived. For example if you try to sing loudly or sharp-toned in falsetto, you will very likely sing in head voice knowingly or unknowingly. Depending on the control & voice, head voice can sound ugly, pretty, legato etc

  • Interesting opinions. But I disagree that this is just pure falsetto or even head voice. It is that "male soprano" passagio voice, which in his case is kind of disconnected from his lower chest voice, but it is still part of his full voice. I really can tell by listening to about any voice. BTW falsetto does not go very high but will switch to head voice to get this high. The MAXIMUM range availability of the female voice is really the same as that of the male and that of children.

  • Wow! You have a real talent!

  • DAS ist eine Nummer zu groß für den Knaben!

Man solte diese Rolle doch besser einem Koloratursopran überlassen, der diesen Höhen gewachsen ist!

  • I sang countertenor until i was 18...

  • But this isn't uncommon in young boys..I'm sure this is before his voice really starts to change. I'm glad he can sing it. He did a beautful job.

  • He said in description he is 16 here. His voice has already changed. I would not say this is common lol. He is a counter tenor, and although his voice will still change as he grows, he will always have an amazing counter-tenor able-to-sing soprano range

  • I agree. I am 22 already, and I am a normal male tenor, however I have this male soprano voice too. Check out my nessun dorma if you have time

    watch?v=e8Tywg3yy8w

I could do this at 17-18 too....

  • I know some people said something about your falsetto. But I don't think this is falsetto. I think it's your passagio/upper voice or whatever but it is part of your full voice. Isn't that so? So I guess in your modal voice you are a normal tenor, but your range extends into a forward "heady" voice above your modal and your range goes very high?

  • Hey, I don't want to dissapoint you or anyhting but the guy in the video is not a natrual tenor. In fact he himself says he is a low bass... on the other end of the scale so to speak ^^'

  • Well, later, he replied my comment saying he is a tenor today, just an average tenor, in his "normal voice". Whichever one he is does not dissapoint me (why would it lol). After analyzing his voice, I believe he will have "two voices", one being hard and tending to be limited, and the second one, above the limiting "wall's ceiling, being high and heady... I wish he would read this thread again and respond lol

  • They used to castrate young boys so that their voice became of higher pitch, that is the reason they call it Castratto. It is a rare voice to find in man. One of the top singers of castratto is Metha. I just saw him with Placido Domingo at the Tamerlano Opera in L.A.

  • reportedly the horrible practice has stopped and there is no known alive "castratti". And yes, that is one of the most barbaric and disgusting practices I've ever had the displeasure of learning about.

  • Can you also sing mezzo-soprano, or castratto? Are you a professional singer? When you grow older, you may lose the soprano pitch and end up mezzo-soprano and you will be able to sing Tamerlano. Congrats.

  • beautiful!

  • These are some of the best high F's I've heard. This would be a voice worth "preserving."

  • I hope you're kidding.
