  • I use a headphone splitter with my rock band 1 drums and both double bass pedals work 99.99% fine.

  • Would the omega splitter work on the original rock band drums and 2 stock foot pedals?

  • @dylan0213 yup

  • fk cant buy that pedal my mom doesnt have a visa

  • The rockband PDF splitter sucks ass with the ion drum brain. Dont get it.

  • I tried searching it up on gamestop. No search results. Tried looking through all rock band pages, and the "pedal" page doesnt have anything. Please help?

  • Will the rockband one from gamestop work connected to a stock drumkit and 2 stock pedals?

  • 1 person(s) is/are a dummy

  • dude you can use headphone splitters for pedals that dont use a magnet to register hits such as the stock, roadie and rock pedal...Destroyer and omega pedals use sensors so headphone splitters will work but jw im not positve but you are obviously using a kickbox for your double destroyers correct?

  • y i cant find the ION drum set in stores!!!

  • OMG!

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT 360 CONTROLLER!?

  • umm dude big question here... ok so i have that pedal from rockband 2. and my friend let me borrow his guitar here world tour pedal but idk how to set that up. can it work with tha other plug that it has on the bottom of the reall one.?.please respond

  • @m3g4deth13 no the world tour pedal will not work on any rock band stock kit. The other plug that you speak of actually becomes enabled for rock band 3 as the 2nd bass pedal, and the game also features a hi-hat pedal which may work for that plug as well. Hope this helps.

  • @DestroyedMetal i have rock band 3. so were do you think i can get that pedal. can i order it from rockband.com cause i saw avideo that said all u had to do is order it saying u broke your old one. but idk. it kinda helps i just need another pedal. and u say the second one comes in as double bass in rock band3? so no splitters or anythihng?

  • Hmmm, I tried the double bass coupler from gamestop and it didn't work well (for me, at least) at all. I ended up getting the roadie double bass coupler and I use it with two roadie pedals, and it works great. I haven't experienced the double/triplet hit issues as far as I know, and I've five starred wahnthac with that set up too. Just my two cents....

  • @Tesuchpwnsu that's actually great, glad it worked out for you. zooyork595 below still considers a headphone spittler rather than an official coupler a few months back, so I assume everyone finds their preference eventually.

  • i'm so glad i saved my money on a splitter and waited for rockband 3 and now all you have to do is plug both pedals in the back of a rockband 2 and after kit. i use a rock pedal with gilbraltar practice pad and my 2nd pedal is a stock rb2 pedal . it taking me time to get used to the stock pedal for double cuz the stock pedal is taller than the pulse rock pedal so i'am like off balance. i'am trying to compensate but it is just weird. btw rb3 is phenomenal!!!

  • Would you say the cheapest way to get double bass is to use two stock pedals (or some cheap one from best buy and whatnot) and use the "Twin Rocker"? It seems like that's the best option for me at the moment, and thanks for the video.

  • @Airforce790 Sure

  • Can you plug the portable drums into the ion brain?

  • @willrocks2519 yes you'll need 1/4" adapter's for the ion drum brain since the portable has 1/8" inch mono jacks.

  • the roadie coupler dosent work i went through three ofr them i tried different cables nothing worked

  • your stupid i have a headphone splitter and it works fine.

  • @zooyork595 yes but if you hold one pedal down and press the other one does it register?

  • where do you get the official coupler? i've been trying to get double base for my set but I don't know where to get things at.

  • Say money wasn't the issue.. what's the perftct double bass setup?

will two destroyer pedals or two rock pedals work fine? and what splitter should i use for them if i have ions.

  • @LukasPuk To be honest, the best double bass setup, try using Axis Longboards with e-kick pads and kickbox.

  • @DestroyedMetal yea um, y the fuck would u buy axis longboards for rockband? go get a real drum kit...

  • @SMoKeScReeeeN He asked me "if money wasn't the issue"?

  • say money isn't the issue what's the perfect double bass setup?

two destroyer pedals with the official rockband coupler?

    or maybe two rock pedals?

  • i had the same setup and it worked perfect... now i got ions and the double kick doesnt work well at all (wont hit fast double hits) i think i need a different kick splitter thingy

  • 42" Plasma HDTV $500

    Ion Drum Set $300

    2 Destroyer Pedals $200

    Turtlebeach X3s $100

    Having a life.. priceless :)

  • why the hell wont a head phone splitter work? i dont hold down my pedal when i play.

  • What a lot of money people are willing to spend just to play music games. I'm an avid Rock Band player myself, but I find one set of IONs expensive on its own. But to buy multiple sets with destroyer pedals to go on on top, plus alot more... it's crazy.

  • thats why i get everything on ebay, i've saved $200 on the ions alone.

  • i have that hihat controller, and it totally sucks as a bass pedal in rock band/guitar hero...but i also dont like the default pedal. if u get a descent pedal your speeds will improve 10 folds. ahhh fuck it...just buy an electonic drum set instead+

  • Can i use 2 destroyers????

  • For the record, the official splitter is crap when used with the ion drum rocker. While it would work, you wont be able to reach expert+ or even fast rock band bass pedal hits. It would always drop notes. But it works fine with the stock set.

  • Question: Can double bass work with Guitar Hero pedal?

  • ....as featured at 3:36

  • Now would the rockband 2 stock pedal work with the ions for double bass? Like have 1 ion pedal, and 1 rockband 2 stock pedal? Or would i have to have 2 ion pedals?

  • all you need is a 1/4" adapter for the stock pedal and you'll be fine.

  • gamestop has the official coupler as the "universal pedal kit"

  • Comment removed

  • does a twin rocker work fine

  • Where "exactly" online can i purchase the rock band coupler? I can't seem to find one. I have the roadie and it worked perfectly for about 3 months. Now it just blows. HELP!

  • farts

  • do you think the prob could be using a roadie-u and an ION stock?

I need a cheap double bass pedal and if I like the stock ION when I get mine I want to just get another for double bass.

    so will this work?

two ION stock and roadie2 double bass coupler

  • u have to much dam money i cant afford all this

  • lol i just get everything on ebay auctions and used

  • forget that question i didnt see the other comment

  • would the exact setup below V work with guitar hero for double bass?

  • Ok, so I've got an ION drum rocker, a RB2 stock pedal, and the roadie pedal that came with the IONs. Is all I need to get for double bass to work with the IONs and these two pedals a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter to plug into the ION controller and that official rock band coupler from gamestop?

  • yup thats it

  • Comment removed

  • Great, thanks! Oh, and one more question. Do you know if the rock band double bass coupler works with the guitar hero games too?

  • it will work as long as its hooked up to the rock band drums

  • Hey I was thinking about getting 2 stock rock band pedals for my ions using that for double bass even possibly using a drum brain with those for double bass and the stock Ion pedal for a hi-hat what do you think?

  • i guess you could do that, just make sure that w/ your drum brain your able to adjust the sensitivity.

  • Do you think the magnetic triggers would work right with the brain or the coupler would?

  • Will the Roadie double bass coupler work with 2 rock pedals?

  • 1 more thing what is it called again

  • Universal Pedal kit i believe, you can look up the pedal on the Gamestop website and it'll be on the first or second page. It's worth the price, the coupler requires 2 AAA batteries

  • can someone tell me where to get a double bass thing to make them work

  • Gamestop or ebay, $25

  • wow wtf Alesis pedals for rock band there 50$ per pedal

  • i got the roadie2 coupler because of yourfirst video. its a piece of shit., now you show me this, and you say it always works. FUCK.

  • i never said it always works, i tore it apart to have relief from the tension

  • that's alot of money

  • i praise u. u just waisted ur money. u should of gotten a electric bass pad and a double pedal . for double bass. ITS WAY BETTER. and i like how ur trying to say that my OLD video is wrong. but its watever

  • So I could use my Destroyer Pedal along with my Rock Band 2 Stock Pedal and they would both work?

  • yup

  • i think this works...but what about if i used my destroyer pedal along iwth the roadie pedal the ions came with.. ?? and also that coupler one that you reccommended, you can buy those at gamestop ??

  • oh yeah and alsoo will any type of headphone splitter work on the ion kit??

  • Just get one the Universal Kits for $25, you won't regret.

  • ahh yeah i got it today! it's definitely different, but it'll work out well.

  • holy shit. u got the works. how do u set it up so the bass is a pedal not something u push down.

    ex. at 5:18

  • You a dummy heehee look up roland kd-8

  • well you still need to press down, but If you're talking about pedals with the pad and the mallet, then you can buy them online. You'd need to buy a kick pedal with a mallet, and an electronic kick trigger (the pad that is hit by the mallet and registers the hit in rock band). I'm not sure if it will have the same jack to fit your drum set, if it doesn't, then you could just by an adapter.

  • THANK YOU.

I finally know what to get now : )

I have an ion set, so I would get the official rock band coupler, a 1/4 inch adapter, and a secondary pedal. I have just 2 quick questions.

    1. Does the rock band coupler have a 1/4 inch port for the ion pedal? or will I need a 1/8 inch converter?

    2. As far as secondary pedals, what are your thoughts on the "Metal Pedal"? I'm considering it because i don't like the sensitivity of the rock band 2 pedal and a lot of the other pedals are too expensive.

  • your welcome.

  • Umm, yeah, I meant you, definitely.
