  • my question is how does Ghostwriter knows about rally if he can hear people talking...if u see the beginning of the episode..you will notice that they only talk about it..but they dont write it to him...to explain it....

  • someone should do a 2000's remake of this show

  • i miss this show so much

  • Ha! Before Texting.

  • Anybody notice Jamal was holding the notebook upside down? LOL

  • calvins ol racist ass! "whats up homie"

  • did they ever figure out who he was?

  • was that wolverine and cylcops on the cover of that comic book? remeber the cartoon X-men? good times

love that they were all reading when they were being summoned

  • Maybe one of the reasons that they write so slow is because they are concentrating really hard on making their penmanship as neat as possible.

I really like how the kids take turns to write. It shows that they really enjoy writing and have great team work.

  • I must have seen the re runs of this show because I faintly remember watching this show when I was little and I'm only 19.

  • lol you don't feel concerned as a parent if your child all of a sudden is hanging out with a new group of friends, leaving the house in the dead of night, and has an imaginary friend named ghostwriter that communicates to him? Sounds a lot like someone is in a gang and is doing drugs. haha, love this show.

  • they all have the same writing?!

  • lol!

  • Awsome ep.!

  • is it me or does alex look like a young Oscar de la hoya

  • Uh, was the notebook upside down? The pocket was facing down....

  • The pen is a Papermate Flair. They don't come on lanyards but if you always buy some cord or ribbon and loop it under the clip on the pen lid. At least that's what I did back then! :)

  • Thanks for your help. I don't know people on Yahoo Answers would not remember because adults between the ages of 23+ will remember the show, but not for people under that age. If a person under the age of 18 tries to answer that question, they will not understand what I am talking about because this was in the early 90's and they were not born yet. I was 8 years old when I remember this show. I did not start watching it until I was 9 years old.

  • I want to search them online, but I don't know the name of the place.

  • Lanyards? not candy.

Where do you buy these lanyards?

  • Does anyone know what kind of lanyards are they? I was looking for pen lanyards exactly like that.

  • Calvin was kinda cute in the later seasons......

  • goooooood

  • i just realized, Lenny is the little girl from

Pet Sematary ... I was wondering where i've seen her before

  • and i think the same girl is in Spy kids

  • LOL omg I'm thinking this whole episode, who does this kid Calvin remind me of...? He acts and TALKS exactly lik Spencer Pratt from The Hills. I had to IMDB him to make sure it wasn't a young Spencer ahaha

  • Did they ever find out who ghostwriter was?

  • Calvin is such a douche!

  • Man i wish i was this efficient when i was in school

  • What year was this. I faintly remember it as a little kid

  • the show aired in 1992

  • @davinp They showed reruns afterwards, though, at least until 1996 or 98.

  • man, i miss this show and all of its mysterious cases and really cool clues. and the gang is super friendly and funny. man, no show, and ill say it again, NO FUCKING SHOW in the world will ever be as cool and kick-ass like this one. . . . .Ghostwriter forever!!!

  • Do you think its the same notebook from "Just in time" seeing as how its the same house.

  • omg i used to wath this show with my uncle! i used to love watching it

  • is ur uncle a pedophile?

  • Great beginning to one of the best teen shows on tv ever. Holds a special place with me cause I grew up with this show. One of the best PBS shows ever heh..

  • i like how Jamal decided to just snap ghostwriter with that notebook, GG. So fucking random.

  • wow...ghostwriter team.....that's clever.

  • footy pj's with the "doodie drop bottom"

HAHAHAHA. soung like something stewie on family guy would say

  • wow wen i saw these pens on this show i always wanted one and wen i got 1 i was so xcited lol.....................kidz

  • I know!! me too LOL

  • I always made my pens into necklaces JUST like theirs!

  • who would name therir parrot Atila.

  • "Maybe, if we keep everything we know about writing to Ghostwriter, one day we could even solve a case about who he is!" Well, one year later the team did--on "Just In Time".

  • man now i want a pen. too bad the funding was cut for this show....

  • i bet they ran out of funds because they spent so much money on paper

  • I read that the computer used to generate Ghostwriter got to expensive

  • How does the Party Animal keep it's customers?! It seems that whenever anybody goes in there they have to deal with the annoying owner gushing about her obnoxious son, that said douchebag son mocking people who come in and/or a squawking parrot!

  • lol not to mention hes a little racist cause everytime he sees jamal he says "whats up homie" and when he sees alex he says some spanish term

  • I noticed that earlier. It pisses me off. He's so obnoxious. What an ass.

  • And the guy that Calvin's mom was trying to flirt with?? As soon as she stops talking, 'zip-zap' he's outa there! Like, "F*ck this how, I'm out!"

    lolz

  • lmao. zip zap is right. he couldnt stand another minute of it or he was going to stab himself in the eye with a ghostwriter pen!

  • Did Gaby ever getting her freakin money back? I've never seen anybody so gung hole about getting 2 quarters back! Hispanics don't play!

  • dats rite! xD

  • haha, that's the truth.

  • @seattlerapmusic for god sakes, she was only like 10 in this video. LOL

  • If this show were on today, they would use text messaging instead of Rally to meet up.

  • or they could text "rally"

  • "wats up homie?"

lOL - they write soo slow

  • "Ghostwriter Team?" Not terribly creative there, Jamal.

Now that I think about it, not only does Jamal remind me of Robin from the Teen Titans cartoon, but really this entire show reminds me of the Teen Titans cartoon period... except for the anime influences, the entire superpower thing, etc. though I wonder if Ghostwriter himself would count as a superpower?

Don't mind me, I'm just being nostalgic.

  • lol, i love it when calvin says "wassup homie"

  • i want a ghost writer pen

    lmao

  • You know, Alex's "minitare video cams in our boots" idea actually would be a lot less impractical today than it would have been then.

I swear, everyday technology has probably advanced faster in the last 15 years than it did in the 40 before that....

  • Doodie drop bottoms?

  • they write so slow

  • doody drop bottom lol

  • The only thing that ever irritated me about this show was how slow the kids wrote.

Thanks so much for uploading, though! It was great to relive a bit of my childhood.

  • also, they wasted allot of paper

  • that's what I keep thinking! So much wasted paper.

  • seriously ppl

    global warmin is hapinin

  • did they ever figure out who ghostwriter was?

  • No, but if you watch the episode "A Crime of Two Cities" ghostwriter remembered being chased by dogs. It is uploaded by iamghostwriter2

  • hmmm tuna peas (hopefully mushy peas) an mash! great combo!!!

  • magic

  • I wanna shoot Calvin's mom, how could anyone talk to her without beating her down?

  • I almost feel sorry for Calvin. Almost.

  • I like jamals kicks.

  • I really miss this time period. If this show was made in 2008, i'm afraid it wouldn't work. In the 90's kids were a lot less superficial. Garbage hip hop, outrageous pop acts, continue glorification of sex and violence has rendered kids not so innocent. I am not saying the 90s were ideal, but there were positive influences (i.e. Arrested Development, conscious hip hop) and I just feel kids were a bit less grown up.

  • Not to mention those colorful outfits. Check out those threads on Lenni!

  • Audio is out of sync

  • I downloaded the avi video from ttoktv. It was out of sync. However, another person fixed it and offered as download with Brinker store eposides.

  • tuna fish, mashed potatoes and peas...could we say gross?

  • I hate peas. I like mashed potatoes, but would never mix them together

  • lol..hey, Calvin is from the Sandlot...

  • lol i do not blame that guy she was pissing me off
