my question is how does Ghostwriter knows about rally if he can hear people talking...if u see the beginning of the episode..you will notice that they only talk about it..but they dont write it to him...to explain it....
lol you don't feel concerned as a parent if your child all of a sudden is hanging out with a new group of friends, leaving the house in the dead of night, and has an imaginary friend named ghostwriter that communicates to him? Sounds a lot like someone is in a gang and is doing drugs. haha, love this show.
The pen is a Papermate Flair. They don't come on lanyards but if you always buy some cord or ribbon and loop it under the clip on the pen lid. At least that's what I did back then! :)
Thanks for your help. I don't know people on Yahoo Answers would not remember because adults between the ages of 23+ will remember the show, but not for people under that age. If a person under the age of 18 tries to answer that question, they will not understand what I am talking about because this was in the early 90's and they were not born yet. I was 8 years old when I remember this show. I did not start watching it until I was 9 years old.
LOL omg I'm thinking this whole episode, who does this kid Calvin remind me of...? He acts and TALKS exactly lik Spencer Pratt from The Hills. I had to IMDB him to make sure it wasn't a young Spencer ahaha
man, i miss this show and all of its mysterious cases and really cool clues. and the gang is super friendly and funny. man, no show, and ill say it again, NO FUCKING SHOW in the world will ever be as cool and kick-ass like this one. . . . .Ghostwriter forever!!!
Great beginning to one of the best teen shows on tv ever. Holds a special place with me cause I grew up with this show. One of the best PBS shows ever heh..
"Maybe, if we keep everything we know about writing to Ghostwriter, one day we could even solve a case about who he is!" Well, one year later the team did--on "Just In Time".
How does the Party Animal keep it's customers?! It seems that whenever anybody goes in there they have to deal with the annoying owner gushing about her obnoxious son, that said douchebag son mocking people who come in and/or a squawking parrot!
"Ghostwriter Team?" Not terribly creative there, Jamal.
Now that I think about it, not only does Jamal remind me of Robin from the Teen Titans cartoon, but really this entire show reminds me of the Teen Titans cartoon period... except for the anime influences, the entire superpower thing, etc. though I wonder if Ghostwriter himself would count as a superpower?
I really miss this time period. If this show was made in 2008, i'm afraid it wouldn't work. In the 90's kids were a lot less superficial. Garbage hip hop, outrageous pop acts, continue glorification of sex and violence has rendered kids not so innocent. I am not saying the 90s were ideal, but there were positive influences (i.e. Arrested Development, conscious hip hop) and I just feel kids were a bit less grown up.

Maybe one of the reasons that they write so slow is because they are concentrating really hard on making their penmanship as neat as possible.
I really like how the kids take turns to write. It shows that they really enjoy writing and have great team work.

I must have seen the re runs of this show because I faintly remember watching this show when I was little and I'm only 19.

You know, Alex's "minitare video cams in our boots" idea actually would be a lot less impractical today than it would have been then.
I swear, everyday technology has probably advanced faster in the last 15 years than it did in the 40 before that....
