Bought a new one for my parents....now I have it. It is the best vac made (they always have been). Basically, you get what you pay for. Yes, they are cheap as used vacs from those that hate the wt/sz, they rid of them.

@QE2BMWm Most people can't stand them. they're way too heavy and cludgy, that's why you can get them for free or cheap pretty much, but they are a good vacuum as far as a vacuum goes
@pkguy3 people pay alot of money for them. I doubt that most can't stand them. Its not like they buy them sight unseen, they bring it to your house so you can try it! If you need to lift them and can't, do buy it.
