You can tell if you watch the one titled 'Police!'. It seems they just wanted to check them up. Asked for the passports (not too clear if the passports were shown to the police behind the camera or not), found out that they are Japanese, then let them go. Scary, but it ended ok.
The place seems to be Servia.
