If you guys wanna see how to make a home made PROJECTOR with just a box and a magnifying glass, click on my channel/username. I am also doing a double IPOD touch GIVEAWAY and I have information/a video about THE NEW IPAD (iPad 2/iPad HD)
nice setup, to bad you couldn't put that center behind that screen in line with the left and right channels,i'd cut a hole in the drywall and surface mount it.
Dude nice setup. But the only thing i can pick wrong is the install. People can have the best speakers, TV home theater, etc but stuff it all up with the install...Dude HIDE your speaker cables....Otherwise nice system.
Hey you got a nice basic system going on there. It shows people the basic's that you need to start with to enjoy movies at home. So as long as your happy thats all that matters.
For everyday use in a moderately to brightly-lit room and for gaming, LCD is the best.
For use in a dark room for mainly watching movies, Plasma is the best.
I personally would go LCD because you don't have to worry about "burn-in" and they run cooler. Also my room can be brightly lit during the day and most LCDs have an anti-glare screen.
u no they make lcd projectors.....? unless ur considering dlp and thats way better then lcd with a more cricp image..... so no lcd doesnt kick projectors ass cause lcd is a type of projector..... .. .... but if u want the best u have to have a plasma!!!!!!
im pretty sure in 5-10 years there gonna make a new type of display replacing lcd and plasma because they have been out for quite a time.... yes plasmas are a dying technology but tho they dont last as long as an lcd they have a better picture quality but it all depends on what u want to do
Picture-wise, plasmas aren't better in every way, LCDs tend to have a higher native resolution for their screen size. The main advantage plasma has is it can produce deeper black levels. And all the latest tv technologies include LCD technology in some way. LED backlit displays are one example(rather than a florescent lamp) and OLED is also probably the newest tv technology available to consumers today. But I wouldn't expect plasmas to stay around much longer(not much more than 5 years)
Yeah I know, the LED backlight displays are awesome as well. They have much better black-levels than standard flourescent blacklit displays. And OLED displays will be even better! They are REALLY expensive tho, Sony makes an 11' OLED screen and it runs for between 2-$3000. And it's technically not even HD! I guess if you want the latest and greatest technology, you'll have to pay for it.
I'll never understand why people have a gigantic screen and then put eensy-weensy teeny-tiny speakers next to it. Kind of like buying a Ferrari and then putting a 5 hp engine in it.
@robdrums69 - What a load of shit. Your mini 1-inch cock might be sharper but todays 720p+ projectors like the PLV-Z5 are SUPER sharp. Clearly you've never actually seen one in the flesh and are quick to come out with horse shit comments out of jealousy because you only have $2.50 in your bank account and no toilet paper left the next time you take a shit.
@raymondleeleggs so, you're another typical compensating loser who wants big big BIG to show off to your fake friends in efforts to make up for the 1-inch weiner in your pants.
Todays speakers can pack big sound into small spaces. Who wants a big ugly fucken box in the room when you can have a much MUCH classier setup in a more confined space. That's far more impressive than overkill boom boxes that can be beat by rivaling units less than half the physical size.
wow Nice Spread man

Picture isn't sharp enough on those projectors, unless you have the one that cost $10.000.00 then you're talking ( a picture )

to save space i guess..but theres only so much potential they can put out...which sucks

If you got a chance try Monitor Audio Radius 45 or 90. The size is the only thing small in those English speakers.
