im white, green eyes, blonde. i enjoy asian culture, which doesnt make me a wannabe asian. she wear circle lenses and have bleached hair. that doesnt mean she wanna be white. african straighten their hair, which doesnt mean they wanna be white. white people color their hair black or tan. doesnt mean they wanna be asian or black or latinas/os.
Lol they are so cute. I love their accent! The people on the train are staring because in japan you are not allowed to speak on cell phones in trains, it's considered rude, so they just text (hence no the cell phone sign in the back) the lady probably thought they were rude for talking.
I love this vid but the girl in the back is probably giving them those looks because its rude to talk much in a Japanese train...its just a difference in cultures

@ninjakittyX Both. Asian skin doesn't tan as well, we won't get rosy sun-kissed glow westerners have, because of our skin type. We also get sunspots easier. Secondly, cultural preference/historical reasons. It is considered more beautiful to be fair. If you are fair you look higher class, much like in India. In the past farmers were dark skinned and poor, so tans are looked down upon. This idea has its roots in Ancient China and is also prevalent in Japan; just look at their traditional art.

@LOVEJustinBieber016 1) If you're referring to the fact that Asians like being pale, it's actually always been an Asian standard of beauty. If you look at really old Chinese/Japanese paintings, people are painted with white skin.
2) If you're referring to the fact that Asians like to dye their hair, white people do it too.
You say we "treat whites like kings and queens" but uh honestly... Asians are pretty damn racist against every race that's not their own LOL...

However, there are some misconceptions about Asians wanting to be "white". The people of Asia used to favor pale skin because it implied that you were rich, since your tanning woukd most likely be because you were a peasant working in the sun. Big eyes in the beginning were though to be beautiful by people in general, but Asians are more fascina

I don't mean to butt in. I'm an Asian male. Many our woman do have a huge obsession trying to look Caucasian. I used to live in Singapore and now I live Malaysia and I see it a lot . I know about the whole pale skin thing, but most of them use that as excuse to hide the fact that they want to look closer to a Caucasian. Also, our woman refuse to date us instead they go after Caucasian guys.

@MissPingouinRose when I took the shinkansen, people didn't talk (in real life or on phones) in the cars. of course there were a few oddballs who shouted into their phones; they're probably from the village or something. but I think XX and Cheesie behaved completely appropriate here. it's unnatural to not talk on trains!

@ninjakittyX Both. Asian skin doesn't tan as well, we won't get rosy sun-kissed glow westerners have, because of our skin type. We also get sunspots easier. Secondly, cultural preference/historical reasons. It is considered more beautiful to be fair. If you are fair you look higher class, much like in India. In the past farmers were dark skinned and poor, so tans are looked down upon. This idea has its roots in Ancient China and is also prevalent in Japan; just look at their traditional art.
