Mother Teresa was no saint. Her image as a paragon of virtue and selflessness is perhaps the biggest con-job of the 21st century. Read Aroup Chatterjee's "Mother Teresa: The Final Verdict" or Christopher Hitchens' "The Missionary Position". Several former volunteers and former nuns have come forward to speak out about the real Mother Teresa, who was corrupt, nasty, cynical and cruel.
Abuse and willful neglect still goes on in her homes for the dying around the world, not to mention fraud.
Mother Teresa was NOT indian !!!She was Albanian get your facts straight cuz seriously and in wikipedia says nationality indian seriously ?like noooo, she was albanian !!!
god is great, thanks Mother Teresa acheived sainthood in India, had done her Great works in India.I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN. "SARE JAHAN SE ACCHA HINDUSTAN HAMARA" PAKISTAN MOORDABAAD
y do v all try to find differences in others . well iam an indian that doest mean i need to say bad abt pakistan . y cant we all forget differences n try to find some similarities . ......
A whore from your religion did less harm for the country than these so called made up saints from politics. MT was one of them who tried to ruin our culture and country.
there is not one soul in this universe or any that is not selfish. the vedas say that god alone is not selfish. so stop saying bad things about people who have done some good (be it little or great).
and you greek orthodoxy there are saintly people in all religions including islam and it is the sign of saints that they recognise this fact.
St. Francis of Assisi was a man who lived a sinful life until he had a vision of being crucified along side Christ. St. Paul was on his was to persecute those who followed Jesus before he met Jesus and followed Him. St. Lucy was brought up as a pagan. But Mother Teresa also believed that no matter what religion we were, we all believed in the same God, who just appeared in different forms.
If this is true, does it make her less apt to become a saint? If she spoke "well" of false religions wouldn't that make her an educated and learned person? Many of the greatest saints today were the worst of sinners. Why so hostile of this great lady?

We need all kinds of people in the world.
Saint Teresa was good in her world, Gandhiji was good in his and Obama will be good in his.
To remove poverty form India, you would need a million saints like her.

Yes, Mother Teresa was very short indeed. She barely stood five feet tall. In actuality, I don't even think she was that tall.

She was not even close to being a saint. She worshipped Buddha in 1975, and spoke well of false religions.
