@EmilyC8526 Tis a long story so don't hold your breath: The band was drugged and drunk at every show like any other young band. It tore him up. His bro Jesse (a band member) tried to change Luke to be a better person, but Luke got angry at him and fired him form the band.Then he had a religious tunring point, with the aid of Jesse, and all at a young age. Through his turning point though, the band turned against him, tore him up more.

@EmilyC8526 Luke was the songwriter, and his strong belief in God now influenced his songwriting and the band didnt like it. They still wanted to live sex, drugs, rock n roll. Eventually they left him. Anyway he gave all it up for a clean life though, then he and Nick littlemore colaborated to form Empire of the Sun, after success, Littlemore "disappeared"

@EmilyC8526 Everyone thought it was becase Luke fought with him, but they never did. Nick took a break to work on Pnau's new album, to be released soon, called Soft Universe. Plus, he's produced the entire Cirque de Soleil 2011's (an amazing circus) soundtrack!! He wanted peace and quiet to do things so he kept it a secret really that he was taking a break; journalists went crazy and said Nick quit.

@EmilyC8526 They blamed Luke saying its because he tried to fire him like with Jesse which made Nick quit, but he never did and Luke and Nick never fought. They're still friends!

Anyway, Luke and Nick are back together, already written new tracks for Empire of the Sun's second album. Once it's released, amybe journalists weill realise Luke doesnt have some inflated ego. Luke's been fighting for 15 years for the success he's just now having with Empire of the Sun. And he definitely deserves it.
