I don't ever remember a "Lancaster Perch Roll". I just remember my grandfather who had a cottage on the St. Lawrence (BS...before Seaway) going to one of his brother -in-laws either in Morrisburg or Cornwall (both butchers) and picking up a whole mess of perch for Sunday morning breakfast by the river....he'd just fry them with...I think...a little cornmeal and salt and pepper..in butter...yum yum...even a fish-hating kid couldn't turn them down. Those were the days.

Nothing better than Catching your own Lancaster perch,clean them and cook them up outside in the cast frying pan.yum,yum.
