I'm from Indiana and I PROUDLY VOTED FOR HILLARY THIS MORNING WITH A HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE! There is NO better candidate for the job. If Obama wins the nomination-which will make me puke if he does-then he doesn't stand a chance against McCain. His true colors are being seen now my the American public and they're looking past the hype and seeing the real Obama. When he gets asked a tough question he just stumbles and stutters around and throws up a smoke screen. What a joke he is!
I think she did a great job of explaining what she and Bill meant. She doesn't take crap from anyone and it pisses off and intimidates some people. The black community are the ones being racists here--PLEASE try to convince me that Obama and his campaign didn't play the race card! Whether you like it or not, Hillary is the BEST CHOICE for President, and even most of Obama's supporters see that, but they just can't swallow their pride and vote for a white woman! Vote for Hillary '08!!!
Ms. Clinton is very well spoken and very rational on these points. She did NOT put down Dr. King in any way sahpe or form. Neither did President Bill Clinton. Sen Obama's campaign is certainly making a mountain of racial ill will out of an ant hill.
What she is saying is that the "dream" is the "place" of blacks and they should remain in their place. She is saying that the place of government and legislation is her rightful place as a white woman...and Obama should stay in his place...this is her subtext.
Obama is the carrier of both the dream AND the legislative ability. Clinton is doing to Obama what men in power have done to women for centuries...there, there now, don't worry your pretty little head, I'll take care of it.
... His dream was realized when he first started to have faith that God could deliver blacks. It was realized when got out of bed and began to prayer and match...There were soo many people involved in this realization and lyndon was just a part... That is very cold of her to say that about civil rights and blacks should be upset!
She is soo fool of it! To simply say that it was Lyndn Johnson that started the movement is amazingly dumb of her. If you let black people tell it, it was through a higher source called "God" and through death, sacrafice, and prayer, Lyndon was used to help progress, but it didnt start there...
All of your statements prove that, regardless of peoples gender who may judge them, intelligent women will always have a tougher hill to climb then any man of any race. It is a shame that people have sought to demonize her rather then listen to her message. The "Good Ole' Boys Club" is still strong in America, and it is telling that a woman is getting more hate for her candidacy then a black man, though women's sufferage ended nearly half a centry earlier then that of black men.
Electing Hillary would be the equivalent of having 2 presidents - an oligharchy. This is not what America is about. On top of that, we dont need anymore politicians whose means justify the ends. She actually said Obama played a role in the Bhutto assasination??? This is a bitter, lying, machiavellian, charletan to which our country never needs to see the likes of again. PS - She has a breakdown over New Hampshire? What if she was president and she had to deal with a REAL crisis? Please!
Sorry when she was speaking I threw up in my mouth!! She's right up there with dirty politics. Obama nor his campaign played the race card, Hillary's own words have been replayed along with her husband. It was the black community who was upset, she needs to get her facts straight & start taking responsibility for her own actions!
She really knows how to twist facts to her benefits. I have voted for democratic candidates in the presidential election as far as I remember. If Hillary is the nominated I would stay home or vote for independent.
Just one more comment on this Hillary. NOBODY is telling me what the facts are or what to think. I am smart enough to find out the information on my own and make my own decisions.
Does she really believe we are so stupid that just because she "says" she or other people in her campaign did not say anything? Do they think that ONCE AGAIN they can just say "I'm sorry or I did not say this" and we are just supposed to BELIEVE it because she says so... I am not that gullible Hillary. Whatever Hillary... saying that If someone in your campaign says something bad you will get rid of them... lies, lies, lies.....
she's right this campaign shouldn't be about race or gender. The debate should slip towards a more important issue, do the US want to create a political system in the hands of a few families and rich businessmen, Obama is the only one who can deliver that kind of change.
Nice, nice, nice, smile, smile, smile, laugh, laugh, laugh, smart, smart, smart, jab, jab, jab, stab, stab, stab. And we don't talk about the possibility that the Bushwads demolished the trade towers. It turns out it was expedient to my carreer of deception and exploitation. Smile, stab, laugh, laugh, stab stab.
Oh look, what's that over there? (stab, stab). She reminds me of my fist grade teacher...(just wait until there are no other adults around). Then you will be my little criminal.
She reminds me of everyone's cold bitter deflating middleschool teacher. She disconnects me from any big ideas I have in this world. Bill Clinton has stated how Obama's platform is actually almost the same as Hillary's...well, ok then, if that's true, my choice just got easier; I then am choosing between a platform with deeply resonating, uplifting, diverse, vibrant outsider as its mouthpiece, or the same platform, with a cold depressing calculating bitch as the mouthpiece.
....She just has something UNTRUE about her...when she speaks you just get this feeling of yuck... if she gets the Democratic nomination, then republicans can count on my vote.
The Clinton's are sooo slick. "I said it but I didn't mean what I say, listen to me now." This is alot like "it depends on what the defeination of 'is' is!!
puke..she always talks so long so she only has to answer minimal questions..someone should interupt her and make her really answer..then shut the hell up

* Sorry, she said Obama accused her of playing a role in the Bhutto assasination. In either case, its low-life politics on her part.
