  • So are you still using the foster extensions? Or were they a fad? I do not hear many people speaking of them anymore and I do not see people using them anymore.

  • I like your performance...so far out of all the videos i hae seen this is the best :)

  • I would love to try out a foster extension, but you can't buy them in the uk. POO!!

  • I live in Cumbria. If you'd like to try them and are willing to travel to where I live, let me know.

  • You are very good. I like that headjoint. What kind of flute are you playing and what kind of wooden headjoint do you have?

  • oh my goodnes! talk about flawless!! KUDOS , i hope i can play this half as well as you.

  • Great Job! This has to be one of my favorite pieces. Yes i know, we all say that don't we? :-)

  • what is that on the end of your flute???

  • They are two Foster extensions.

  • Huh...I've never heard of them...What do they do?

  • What they do is debatable! If you check out Nina Perlove's video playing duets with Joan Sparks it may be clearer. Thanks for listening and posting.

  • they're supposed to make you tone and clarity smoother and sweeter basically (or thats what ive gathered from the numerous videos ive watched of flautists testing them out)
