I'm glad they brought a reissue . That means that the first MOTU classic He-Man we be worth more in the future.

what i noticed, the reissue He-Mans skin is toned down. Its now not too shiny which i find really good.

i just found out on the figure by watching the vid, that they changed the way of his hair on the right side of his head!! if you can notice that u will see it!! i like the new way of the hair! looks a lil more round, more alike the motu he-man!! great!!

They need to make a new head for skeletor that has a larger cloak that covers up his neck. Also the cloak should flare outward from the skull sort of like the Filmation Skeletor. Maybe even a glow in the dark yellow skull.

i could say that even the chest piece is diferent! if you check, i can tell that in the first figure the chest its looking up but on the new figure the chest its more flat! its like in the new figure the chest or nipples are looking down!!

this reissue is way better than the 1st release.. can sit on battle cat no prob w/ that softer plastic and no make up.. packing for me looks better w/ that the original logo

The shoulder joints are correct on this figure. They were backwards on the first release. And no, no screws on the back.

to me the distance between the upper part of the legs around the waist area is shorter than the previews! the waist is less wider! i think the changed that! to me seems to have less space between the legs!!

This is true. Something I failed to mention is that the crotch piece is thinner, matching all of the figures released since He-Man and Beastman and allowing for less of a gap between the legs.

great job dan, any chance on a resculpted head for the new skeletor release?? so he looks more like he does on the photo from his bio. with those longer fangled teeth and just a yellow face without the green chin strap paint?

and one other thing...dont you think zodak should have been released with a 2nd maskless,tattooed head?? it would have been a real nice touch...

The Skeletor re-release, as far as I know, will only have on difference. That is a corrected left hand so that it can hold his staff better. The head sculpt will be the same.

And I agree about Zodak. That would have been a nice addition!

just wondering if you get to talk to any head guys from mattel or the horsemen?? maybe you could make some suggestions to them, like the zodak head...or softening up the female outfits for better leg movement...a great figure for them to reference was the star trek green orion slave girl by art asylum...her outfit was COMPLETELY rubber,detailed but not removable. perfect for the MOTU women.

The original He-Man and Skeletor swords were basically half swords. The two swords fit together to create the whole sword of Power. It's referenced in the old mini comics.
