this is the best idea to ever come out of australian motorsport.however i am very disapointed it was not promoted better because i only found out this even happened today when someone told me.highly disapointed i missed this.this is a once in a lifetime thing that combines everything great about australian motor racing.Great event just disapointed i missed it.craig lownes is the perfect person to represent australian motorsport and australia in general.every time i see him he is smiling.

I never thought an F1 car could get around Bathurst simply becoz of the condition of the track and the way F1 cars are so fragile. But, I'm glad to say, I was wrong! It would be great to see the F1 at Bathurst, but the logistics of it make that almost prohibitive. For 1, Bathurst doesn't have an international airport or facilities. V8's work there becoz we don't get thousands of overseas media and millionaire spectators going to it: F1 does.

I've always wanted to see how a F1 car handles some of the Bathurst corners, particularly The Dipper, so was very pleased to find this... but it doesn't show any of the bits I wanted to see! Argh. So frustrating.
