American soldiers are so lucky. you have the most advanced equipment and the best air support in the world. but look at those turbanheads and iraqis .. they have nothing but sheer will power. we may never see this kind of warfare in the future. like the vietnam war how America failed. or the Afghan war against the soviet. or even the WW II. those were the glory days of warfare and those were the bravest man on this planet. nowadays warfare is pressing buttons from a control room.

This was an excellent book. I don't think it matters what your politics are when you read this. He simply tells his account of what happened, and keeps the issues surrounding the war to himself for the most part. People should read this simply to have an understanding of what modern urban warfare involves. It was very educational. Thanks to the author for sharing it with us.
