Thomas Eager, an MIT professor who touts the official theory himself said that the jetliner impacts had insignificant damage, it was mainly due to fire according to him. yet nothing supports it. facts are facts, LC or not. the buildings were pulverized in all directions in under 20 seconds. stop using recycled propaganda from the TV, that's all you guys ever use.

when it serves an entirely more plausible explanation than 'progressive' collapse, yes. these weren't conventional CD's on the towers seeing as they were blown from the top down (but using common CD techniques, the cores were evidently severed to remove support internally at it's base). pools of molten iron beneath all the rubble support this (nothing else could produce all of this molten iron except for either a blast furnace which the fires were not, or thermite/thermate charges)

a building doesn't explode in all directions shooting it's material everywhere yet still having the mass to crush itself to the ground, unless explosives supply that lack of energy. Almost 32 stories of matter was above the impact point in 2 WTC. That 32 stories-- imagine a 32 story building-- turned into kinetic energy when the the core columns softened and the perimeter columns pulled in and broke like toothpicks. The science supports it.

the core columns softened? NIST's own report says that the temps didn't get over 600. The start wouldn't be instant from softening and wouldn't be symmetrical from asymmetric damage. Regardless, the rest of collapse requires for the floors to be in tact and fall flat onto each other all the way to the ground, creating a substantial PILE.
the squibs couldn't be air pressure seeing as the top chunk was MUSHROOMING LATERALLY IN A CLOUD OF DUST. where's the intact chunk causing piston effect?

btw you're also forgetting path of most resistence, in which these buildings fell. the south tower's top section oscillation stopped tipping on it's fulcrum (building beneath) which defies conservation of angular momentum...unless the building beneath it was being blown up before it could continue it's tipping.

If jet fuel weakens steel then why don't kerosene heaters malfunction? Kerosene fires are 'cold' burning and cannot generate the necessary heat to weaken structural steel. There is NO SCIENCE to back up these wild claims that jet fuel fires can weaken steel. It is pseudo-science.

If that's the case why didn't it happen in 1975? or that other buildings with 10x the severity in fires never blow themselves to the ground (even with an assload of damage)??? Like I said, and you'll continue to ignore, that NIST said the fires in that zone didn't get higher than 1100F. UL tested the steel to withstand 2000F for 6 hours.

No, the basic human need is to try to get to the bottom of something that does not make any logical sense - why, for example, two huge skyscrapers would explode into concrete dust within an hour of being hit by planes, and why there was none of the structural steel left standing. Why a building that was not hit by a plane would collapse onto it's own footprint.
