Todrick Hall should have made the top 12 replacing Tim Urban. He has the most potential of any season 9 contestant. I would buy music from him, and not from the top 2. I would also buy music from Michael Lynche, Katie Stevens, and Andrew Garcia.

I think that the problem with Todrick is that although he has incredible control and great tone, he moves away from central well-known melodies too much. Yes, he "made it his own" with this song, but it's a classic and there's no reason why he should change it nearly beyond recognition.

There's a reason why it became a classic to begin with, and singing it in his own style would be fine, if he hadn't taken it so far. He sang it more off from the original than on. And that's a pattern with him.
