I'm not one of those people who think Chuck was invincible in his prime, but I will say this Chuck Liddell in his prime vs ANYONE would be a great fight. Insane power, good footwork, great speed, killer instinct, granite chin, and a solid wrestling base which resulted in probably the best takedown defense I've ever seen from a striker in his weight class.

@spankdass09 Wanderlei may only be 34 but he has been fighting pro in MMA since 1996, damage matters more than age my friend. Wanderlei in Pride killed Rampage the same night that Rampage killed Chuck. Chuck went there to fight Wanderlei but got eliminated by Rampage. BTW Wandy didn't get his ass kicked at all by Chuck, it was a very close fight. Plus both were outta their primes anyway, it would have been a much better fight in 2003.

The thing for Wand is he fought a couple of HW's, which is more for p4p, since Fujita and Yoshida weren't highly regared fighters when he faced them, Fujita being in his prime in the beginning of the last decade.

He'smore afraid to loose his title. He's dominant on the ground. and he is safest there. He admitted that he just wants to win to hold the title as long as possible and make a name for himself. Hiis entire team makes gameplans for him that allow him to be on the safe side.. Only downfall is that 5 minute gorund of a BJJ match wih strikes on the ground and little ground and pound, can be boring at times.
