i have to say that I listen to music while I drive a lot and sometimes the volume drop from weak signal when the batteries start to die. Even the act of having it plugged into the charger doesn't give immediate results and causes a frequency background noise. Why doesn't the device auto connect even though it is advertised as being such. I may wire it to my stereo and put a power supply to it from the alternator.

Does this let you have VOl control when in voice calls? Meaning, turn down the vol on the phone (Bluetooth) vol if its too loud? I have a current setup, works like that, but doesnt let you control the bluetooth vol, and it is stuck on max, voice calls sound bad, but music sounds fine...

I have bought this item and it works fine but its autonomy is so very poor so that product is unusable in auto. It is always in charge! I have bought it on eBay. What a disappointment!

What if I'm listening to a CD or radio and not using the AUX… I'm sure it will not automatically switch the modes on my car's music system from CD/Radio to AUX during the call, and back to CD/Radio once I'm done with the call. Not everyone carries music in their phones you see.

@c4r3on you bring up a good point, in the circumstance you described you would need to manually switch the mode on the stereo and then switch back. The motorMOUTH will blink and your phone should ring as a call comes in, simply switch the mode on the stereo and enjoy a handsfree conversation.

@tiramisu327 the mic is amazingly clear, during testing callers indicated that the quality was comparable to speaking directly through the handset. It also features custom tuned DSP echo and noise cancellation to eliminate feedback.

The MotorMouth2 can simultaneous pair with a Cell phone (using Hands Free Profile HFP) and an iPod (using Streaming Audio Profile A2DP).

Streaming audio will automatically be interrupted during an incoming call. Streaming audio will then return when the call is ended.
