When I was about to play ultimate mortal kombat 3 for the genesis, i put the cartridge in, and when i turned it on, it popped up the screen that has all the inscription codes and crap and i could change the game anyway i wanted to (but i didnt) and this only happened once, it was weird. If anyone could explain this strange occurance, i would appreciate it, thanks.

@Patkillskenny No he doesnt.he does the slide just like subzero.but when he does the thing that scorpion does to release his spear reptile releases acid.and when he does this thing that subzero does to freeze someone reptile does that when he does his forceball

I loved this while I played it, but Liu Kang's fighting gameplay was completely fucked... If you jump then kick (either kick button) He would to the standing high kick in the air... what the hell...? He's the only character I'm able to actually play as without failing... :\ I ended up switching back to good ol' UMK3. But trust me, I bet every other character works just fine ;)

there is a way to play this on a genesis. i know that most will not believe me, but my cousin had a weird cartridge that looked nothing like the ones.it had no artwork and was bigger then the others too. they had and it had the same character select screen. watching this reminded use about it this was when we where kids though.

this was a little too buggy if you ask me. I was playing and i was about to do a fatality on the poor guy when he wasn't stunned and used a fatality on me! BUT it said i won and i performed a fatality and i moved on to the next guy

A hack of the PlayStation version of MK Trilogy would have been nicer, but overall very well done. I hope they could bring back all MK characters in MK9 via DLC.

I remember someone suggesting a remake of MK Trilogy. Something like this would be cool, but hopefully also have all arenas and music tracks from MK1 and MK II as well as MK3.

I totally agree with you! Tho I'm not a fan of Cyber Smoke, MK should go back to 2d, the 3d MK games (not counting MKvsDC) were good....but the 2d MK games are FAR superior.

Actually, a Genesis-game can hold up to 5 mb (40 megabit) and the only game that has so much data which also was released is Super Street Fighter 2 (40 megabit got to be 16 characters and a hell of a lot air).
