@lote1234567891011 because evos are expensive and you can make your car just as fast as an evo for less than 3k, I was pushing 15 pounds of boost and keeping up with stock wrx's and stock evos all day

@lote1234567891011 Not only is steven right the regular base lancers are less heavy then an evo. And I've seen people convert their evos to FWD and hit up 10's in the drag strip.

I had a Road Race Motorsports Stage 2 Turbo Kit, along with pretty much every other bolt on you could get. Only thing I didn't do to the motor was internals. It was mainly a show car and I only ran 9lbs of boost daily so I wasn't real worried about spending the $ on internals.

Yes, the trunk is carbon fiber. It's a VIS trunk.

So is it the kaminari kit that drops that car so low or the suspension? I have megan coilovers and 17in. rims on 45 series tires with stock oz body and I cant get my car to go lower than like 7in from the ground without scraping the fenders.

well first off, your running 45 tires on it. thats part of your problem. i have some 17swith 205/40s and they tuck in rather nicely, and if u want your car lower, you should have gone with some 16s and 205/45s or your stock 15s with 195-205/50s.. would get you that extra 2 or 3 inch drop, depending on the tire choice you may need to roll your fenders. pretty easy to do

Well I tried rolling my fenders with a baseball bat but all I succeeded in doing was chipping up my paint on the bottom of the wheel well. Any other suggestions? I had 40 series before but liked the look of 45's but I plan on getting 35's with the next set I buy.

go rent a fender roller from a body shop or local parts rental store.. or even spend the money and let some professionals do it for you then. ive seen people do with with 2x4, baseball bats, and even metal pipes, but a fender roller always comes out the best. let the pros do it if you cant!

For what it's worth, I would highly recommend letting a good shop roll your fenders. I pretty much do everything on my car, but in my humble opinion that's one thing I would lets the pros with the right tools do. Look at it this way, even tuner shops send some of their stuff off to have another shop do it (ie, body, prep, machining), so don;t feel bad about it. Do it right, it'll be worth it.

Its a nice ride.. nd yeah most likely from (RRM)RoadRaceMotorsports. you can get a basic set up non-intercool for like 2G's or 3.5G's for the one this lancer has.. my OZ's been waiting for like a year now for that boost upgrade.

Yes, the turbo is the Road Race Motorsports Stage 2 kit. The kit is over 4 grand when it's all said and done if you buy it new from RRM. I got mine used and paid $2000. I replaced some of the parts with newer or better ones and when I sold the kit I actually got more for it than I paid for it!
