We are all pretty lucky to be alive then! I also think that we are 'winners' when you consider how many different combinations of male and female gametes can form for each generation, and how many different gene combinations can be achieved during meiosis for each of those gametes. There are almost infinite possibilities, and we just happened to be the one that occurred. Lucky us!

Yeah it's mind bogglingly impressive isn't it? But delving into the dizzying realms of existentialism (I think?) How do I know that I couldn't have been someone else? I mean, essentialy the only thing that makes me ME, is that i have a conciousness, but why does this body have MY consciousness and not someone elses? Weird stuff...maybe I'll make a video about it :)
