"The U.S. government is the biggest impediment to job growth. Having built a small business into a big one, I can tell you that today the impediments that the government imposes are impossible to deal with. Home Depot would never have succeeded if we'd tried to start it today. Every day you see rules and regulations from a group of Washington bureaucrats who know nothing about running a business. And I mean every day. It's become stifling." --Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus to Investor.com
Worse, not worst. How do you people manage to escape high school now? I see this mistake everywhere. When you are comparing a variety of things you might say 'that is the worst one', but when you are referring to progressing deterioration, worse is the correct word to use.
Buy and watch the dvd I.O.U.S.A - once you do you will realise that this mess is about the complete collapse of the American Debt based consumer model. A "debt based consumer model" - what a ridiculous concept.
The deepening reccession is do to a great theft and until we stop pretending that the economy will turn itself around.without addressing that fact, not only will the economy continue to get worst America, thanks to its seven hundred billion dollar folly, will never accheive the status we held for the brief six years.
There will always be detractors, but we don't have too many options to create jobs, as we manufacture very little in America anymore.
The public works projects will put people to work, allowing them to help stimulate the economy.
I do hope people realize that he cannot wave a magic wand and make it all disappear overnight. These problems to years to fester and will take some time to reverse. I think the Obama administration will get us on the right track.

It's not "will get worst".
It's "will get worse"
In any case, Brokaw was wrong. Obama's campaign rhetoric was anti-business and he proposed tax hikes for their success.
This sends the message, GET OUT OF BUSINESS because it's to much of a risk to have one under Obama's plan.
Cut labor, sell the company, or move out of the country if you can.
