Clone Wars was easily alot better overall, but this was still a kickass game IMO. I guess it's an acquired taste. I mean sure, there's a few things I hate about the game (the limit for mutant powers especially, and on Wolvie's claws too? Wtf?), but I still love this and Clone Wars the same.

X men 1 and X men 2 for Genesis are some of the best games i have ever played.
Today's games are too complicated and take beyond 10 hours to finish that you need memory cards and shyt....it starts to feel like work, instead of fun play.

Ah yes, the good old Mojo level Genesis reset. I figered it out completely by accident. I was forever stuck at that one part of the game, and at one point said "screw it" and just hit the reset button on my console... lo and behold, it worked! Gave me a bit of a scare at first though... To beat that mojo level you have to reset the game after that computer bx comes up. You have to actually get up, press the reset button on the genesis, and the matrix effect will come up. I'm actually surprised at how good the ending to the game was. I was expecting a short cutscene, maybe with a few lines of dialogue between Xavier and the X-Men, then the credits... I wasn't expecting some long, well written thing, lol. Further proof of how cool this game is, I suppose.

Never got to the next level cause I never knew how to "RESET THE COMPUTER" for the stage. Years later I found out when I picked up a tips&tricks magazine they had the way to solve that by resting the genesis I was pissed when i found that out

Hey about the dripping water part...do you HAVE to take damage? The only thing I can think of is to jump and iceman so you can go under or something.

Man, it took me about 3 weeks to finally get to face Magneto, and another 8 months just to beat him. I was flyin' high like I did something special, and *THEN* they come out with the cheat code...

Ah yes, the good old Mojo level Genesis reset. I figered it out completely by accident. I was forever stuck at that one part of the game, and at one point said "screw it" and just hit the reset button on my console... lo and behold, it worked! Gave me a bit of a scare at first though... I thought my faithful ol' genesis had finally kicked the bucket.

I never figured that out! I didn't learn that until after my genesis kicked the bucket. This is the first time I've ever seen the end of this game. I used to love this game but hate that stupid reset thing.

To beat that mojo level you have to reset the game after that computer bx comes up. You have to actually get up, press the reset button on the genesis, and the matrix effect will come up. Could you imagine a 9 yr old having to take that chance or FIGURING THAT OUT for that matter. Anywho, I found out while watching gamepro tv--back when it came on. The first time I was too scared to try it, the second time I did. And that's the story of the first, and only, time I got to the last level.

OMG, I couldn't beat this game, but it was so awesome. Also, music makes or breaks a game and this audio hit the nail on the head.

OH i'm pissssssed. I had this game and loved it. but whenever i beat Mojo and went right up to the end and smashed that screen like Nightcrawler does...i never got a Matrix thingy. the game just kept on going and the level would just self destruct. WTF.

I found out when watching GamePro TV a long time ago and I remembered overhearing that I had to do that. So, there's your answer.

Shit u guys are better than me...here i am 13.5 yrs later and JUST now being enlightened on how to beat the mojo level.... I woul NEVER have guessed that pushing reset would be the key....

I'm actually surprised at how good the ending to the game was. I was expecting a short cutscene, maybe with a few lines of dialogue between Xavier and the X-Men, then the credits... I wasn't expecting some long, well written thing, lol. Further proof of how cool this game is, I suppose.

good shit played it'd once but did beat it cause we rented it back then. should have been a two player game and had more playable characters. i hope playstation 2 remakes this game over the same way but more music, longer game play, all x-men characters, it can still be a side stroller game but better thats all. anybody agree or disagree. let me know.

the emulator called "Kega" has a soft reset option that works with this game. i've tried it myself.

shit i wish i still own this for sega because if you have a sega emnulator and play this and the reset part of the game happens your screwed because the emulator WILL RESET THE GAME
