I think the new GTIs are ugly, but the Ford Focus definitely isn't anything special either. Ford's high point are their extremely reliable trucks and, for Americans, the fact that they don't need to take government bailout money to survive AND post record profits.

I think the new GTIs are ugly, but the Ford Focus definitely isn't anything special either. Ford's high point are their extremely reliable trucks and, for Americans, the fact that they don't need to take government bailout money to survive AND post record profits.
VW, I've always liked plenty of their models, and they're a very reliable, high quality brand.

Maybe they don't have enough "track" racing expertise but they have AUDI's at their service and they totally own The Dakar Rally, the Touareg has been praised by many publications and sites.
Remember what VW means: "People's Car" they make cars for the middle class and they do it well, Of course I prefer a Mustang but if my budget is limited I chose a VW to any Japanese brand ANYTIME!

I know for a fact that a year old GTI is only 20k. I just bought an 07 Rabbit, and I looked at the GTI as well. Get your facts straight: a base Mustang is only 1k cheaper than a base GTI. (what bizarro world do you live in that a GTI costs 35k? They must have seen you coming from a mile away)

@golfracer89 3l lupo war doch der grösste flop,der hat tatsächlich wie ein alter normaler 1,4l motor,bei normaler fahrweise seine 7,5/8l gefressen.nur beim niedrigtoutig fahren war er sparsam,das ist aber jeder verbrennungsmotor.der passat cc 2,0 tsi,den mein kumple grad geleast hat,der frisst 20l wenn man mal etwas aufs gas latscht,der focus rs braucht ca. dasselbe.und ord hat bereits die hälfte der crown victoria taxis in den usa durch hybriden ausgetauscht,auf eigene kosten.

@golfracer89 ja,so ist das mit den fans,totale tatsachenausblendung und einfach jeden mist glauben,den die werbung erzählt. die benziner brauchen alle noch minimum ihre 6,5l bei 1,4l hub,das aber nur bei 2000-2500u/m.das der tsi,mit seiner hobbytunertechnologie,viel frisst,ist jedem klar,der ein bisschen ahnung von verbrennungsmotoren hat.
hybriden rentieren sich sehr wohl,grad als taxis.in den usa wurde der vebrauch um die hälfte gesenkt.zumindest tun die was und labern nicht nur rum,wie vw.

@golfracer89 vw springt nicht auf,sondern holt sich mal wieder heimlich die technologie von toyota,ohne die hätten vws keine stoßdämpfer und bremsen,lol.wer propagandiert den was?die hersteller entwickeln leise und bringen nach und nach das mögliche auf den markt.vw ist doch der grösste propagandist überhaupt und dazu total faschistisch,wobei wir wieder bei diesem video wären.denk mal nach bevor du schreibst und schreib vorallem nicht über dinge,von denen du offensichtlich keine ahnung hast.
