One of my favorite bands of all time as well as an amazing performance. These guys never cease to amaze me. Complex yet beautifully melodic and a two-piece to boot..... I also have to say that it's funny that Rich Eisen was the guest on Kimmel that night. I grew up watching him on my local news channel here in my hometown of Redding Ca.
@shploomp I do. Two Gallants was a short story about two guys chasing girls but not getting anything.. They thought that was a pretty accurate portrait of their life.
I miss this band more than any other!!! Saw them many times in SF and it was always amazing. Saw them at The Independent and they put a spotlight behind Tyson and projected his shadow on the wall. So cool to watch him wail on those drums. Check out "Devotionals" for his new stuff. Adam has a solo album now as well.

Just a message to Saddle Creek - This is one of the few bands that I would absolutely buy a collection of their live performances, even just the audio, and yes, even at youtube quality.
Their performances have such power and emotion that each clip is unique, and worth listening to.
i cannot get over how ridiculously awesome (and complicated) his drumming style is! its melodic than it is a beat. these guys are much too underrated.
I listened to this on the party I first met a fuckbuddy I later fell in love with. At that time she was a replacement for another girl I loved. This shit hits me hard. Its just so damn beatiful.
aside from just being a really good drummer, tyson has a unique style that's really hard to imitate. this song is fairly basic on drums but still super difficult to play exactly the way he does.
This song just hit me right in the heart. Heard them first at Bukta Festival in the north of Norway this july, now I am mad I hadn't heard them before the concert as i would have been signing along to all my favourites!
An absolutely amazing band but not the easiest thing to promote, since many of their songs are non-traditional. Although many speaks about love and how much somebody loves somebody, this is a song about somebody sleeping around to get somebody off their mind and somebody whose too scared to get attached. When you read the lyrics, it is absolutely amazing.
i'm probably going to get hated on for speaking my mind, but i just can't get past this guy's screamy off-pitch voice. i'm admittedly not familiar with these guys, so i like to think i'm coming from an objective point of view. good song and great fingerpicking though.
peopel who like music like this are generally less likely to give you a thumbs down for giving your opinion! we aint the mindless idiots who listen to fall out boy n avril lavigne!! of course im jus generalising here!
Hey man, I understand that you don't like it, it's very diffrent. But I think Adam does it in such a style that just makes it sound so damn perfect. I love Two Gallants but I respect your opinion.
The thing is about these guys, everyone seems to think hmm thye are not bad. or ''was alright'' It pisses me off that they dont see the passion put behind the music. And because they look like they have just come out the garage, people dont think much of them, if usher was on the show, even if he did a shit show, they would think it was brilliant because he has got all the designer clothes, or at least they would'nt look down on him.. Im only using him as an example, there are many more...Thanks
I agree, it's just the lyrics are so absolutely... just beautiful. You're just not going to find some mainstream musician who can belt out something as passionate as that. But oh well, if they can't appreciate it, it's their loss.
i saw them life 2 hours ago.... and i stood in the first row maybe 2 metres away from them :D it was just amazing! u guys rocked my day!!!! love you <3
I don't think this performance is that great really... love the band, all their albums/EPs, and of course this song, but it sounds so much better on the album
well he does play out of an ampeg rig (which is the cadillac of bass amps) and his style makes up for it, he plays the bass line under a lead part so there is no need for a bass player
yeah they are pretty awesome guys my friend stole a shirt from their merch guy and i still feel guilty for letting my friend, thats how strong of vibes they give off when in their prescence
