Always glad to see Heritage cars still running. I miss the days of when the A-Line was really active with the sections of Amtrak's Champion and Floridian running as well. There were many portions that were still double track back in 1978, but of course that's now yesteryear. BTW: Were the female voices those of the conductor and engineer? I've seen very few female engineers and conductors in the southeast.
The A-Line north of Sanford gets the most trains. Anything south of Taft Yard near Orlando is fairly dead. The track between Taft and Auburndale gets 4 Amtrak and 2 intermodal trains a day, plus any rock trains they may run. The track north of Sanford gets 6 Amtrak (including the Auto-Train), 2 manifest, 2 intermodal, and any coal, local, or rock trains they run. Most of the traffic drops out at Taft. If you go further north to Bostwick, you can get even more coal trains. Hope this helps!

I stand corrected.

Track work there as well? I guess Sand Patch isn't the only one getting a make-over. Nice scenes from a nice town.

AmtrakSmurf is right. If the first train was 97, it's the Silver Meteor. If the second was 92, it's the Silver Star. Very good video by the way!

You got those two trains mixed up. The first one is the Meteor, and the last is the Star.
