I need to know for someone suffering horribly from the same disease this woman had. Can I refrigerate the leaves and store them to juice for like a week? Or can I juice enough to last a week and store that. I know fresh is better but were just not there yet. I can get enough but it will be weekly...
I know that when you juice veggies you need to drink it immediately as when the juicing process is done the juice starts to loose its nutrients due to expose to oxygen and should not be saved for more than a few minutes, so I would imagine it's the same for Kannabis juice, I would say keep the leaves in the fridge and use them with in a couple of days. Fresh is best!

i depends what you want from it, but if it's a general preventative it would seem wise to juice lots of raw fresh (organic) leaf material, and ideally from a balanced strain like 'cannatonic'.
The reason why Cannabis is still not legalized is because the drug companies can't patent a natural substance. Marinol: generic Dronabinol is synthetic THC. @grubgrob Umm.. not sure where u got that, but I'm pretty sure u got your facts a little mixed up. In 1901, pharmaceutic companies were already using cannabis in their medicine. The drug laws that came about where the Pure Food and Drug act in 1906, which made it law to label medicine and then the Harrison Tax Act which banned opiates and coca derivatives in 1914 and then cannabis was essentially made illegal in the Marijuana Tax act of 1937 and it was taken out of the US pharmacopoeia in 1941.
@armandsbriedis Many people do make a tea with cannabis. The only problem with that is both the aging of the leaves and the heat from the tea can activate the THC and make it psychoactive. At that point you can only consume roughly 10-30mg before getting higher than you want to be. By consuming fresh raw plant you can get 600-1,000mg instead.

Both of these doctors an more have seen many thousands get relief using cannabis. As far as anti-cancer, conclusive evidence is not there yet, but will all of the science pointing that way , it would seem a good choice to use a plant that has many other benefits just in case.

@Hankiebob She said "I was told I was sterile." And yes, people who take a lot of prescribed drugs have a lot wrong with them. One causes a side effect and another drug is prescribed which causes more side effects and another is prescribed to offset those side effects--look around. But even if her problems were psychological, the conventional treatment didn't help her. Even if she is receiving a placebo effect from the cannabis, so what? She is happy now. Where is the harm?

I thought the makers of this video were trying to get people to be sympathetic for the girl and believe that cannabis has THAT much power. I mean, its a good thing to have, but in moderation. The reason why Cannabis is still not legalized is because the drug companies can't patent a natural substance. Marinol: generic Dronabinol is synthetic THC. The reason it doesn't work is because Marijuana has other key chemicals that interact with THC and modifies it's effect on the molecule such as Cannabidiol. So why make an ineffective Rx when the natural substance can be made into a concentrated extract? Because a natural substance cannot be patented since no one can claim the rights to it.

This sounds a too good to be true, and I would like to see some published research to back up its claims.
That said, obviously this plant should be legal. Not decriminalized, not deeply regulated for medical stuff, but legal.
There is a difference between wanting hard evidence of the medicinal benefits of marijuana (which for pain is DEFINITELY available), and the legality aspect.
There is simply not sufficient reason to keep this illegal. Hell it even makes good clothing.

@grubgrob Umm.. not sure where u got that, but I'm pretty sure u got your facts a little mixed up. In 1901, pharmaceutic companies were already using cannabis in their medicine. The drug laws that came about where the Pure Food and Drug act in 1906, which made it law to label medicine and then the Harrison Tax Act which banned opiates and coca derivatives in 1914 and then cannabis was essentially made illegal in the Marijuana Tax act of 1937 and it was taken out of the US pharmacopoeia in 1941.

@armandsbriedis Many people do make a tea with cannabis. The only problem with that is both the aging of the leaves and the heat from the tea can activate the THC and make it psychoactive. At that point you can only consume roughly 10-30mg before getting higher than you want to be. By consuming fresh raw plant you can get 600-1,000mg instead.

The Dr. from UCSF head of oncology saying this plant is medicinal or the other Dr. that has traveled worldwide and met with doctors who have all been studying this plant. Most likely it's Kristens story. It does seem unlikely someone would have all those ailments and recover by using just a plant. I have met her personally and can vouch for her. They will soon be posting a new video with pictures from her before cannabis.

@CannaVites Don't get me wrong, I like weed and I'm pro legalization, but until I see a peer-reviewed article demonstrating it can cure cancer, well, to me is like all the other mumbojumbo theories about miraculous natural remedies. Workin in science I know that the opinion of an expert is just that, and it can't prove anything but just suggest a theory that must be verified through rigorous sperimentation. Unfortunately a couple of people treated don't make a statistic.

Both of these doctors an more have seen many thousands get relief using cannabis. As far as anti-cancer, conclusive evidence is not there yet, but will all of the science pointing that way , it would seem a good choice to use a plant that has many other benefits just in case.
