wow, after re-listening to this after one year...man..I gave myself the goosebumps...seriously~ need to practice some more or shut the heck up. hahaha..but thanks for all the comments guys.
I'd say you know the song pretty well, but the more you listen to it, the more tuned you become. even if youre not singing with it. Try to open your throat more, articulate a lot, and do the breathing thing i said below. Youre taking a pretty good approach to the high notes, and thats a good start. I know youre trying to do the vibrato like JRI (who is amazing and has years of practice,) but start off making the notes clear. Message me if you want, and this is all what I've learned in lessons.
be more confident... grunt wit anger b4 u sing to get into a more confident mood if need be... good voice but u need to srsli work on confidence... sing louder... and sing wit more emotion...
Please toggle the mp3- I can hear Jang Ri In's vocals. You're voice isn't as clean cut as hers , but if you think you should sing. Then sing. You need to work on your vibrato and control your breathing those notes are so weak and flat. If you use your lungs like Jang Ri In you'll go far. You have potential but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm being consructive not negative. You can still prove me wrong. FIGHTING.
well you always breathe from your lungs, but when you breathe, breathe fully and expand your stomach as much as you can (when you're practising.) then hold it in for a second, and start to breathe out slowly, saving your air so you have some left at the end of the phrase. and keep working on it.
Ohh, yea, my friend taught me last week and I'm trying to work on it since I need to be loud during choir LOL!! And I think Jang Ri In sing with her stomach instead of lungs?
oh, cool. well, its not that youre not singing with your lungs, that and your stomach together is where the air should come out. but it does take maybe years to develop the kind of power professional singers have. but do that stuff, and eventually with lots of practice you will.
I think it's not really the "stomach" but the diaphragm (which is probably just above the stomach). If you know biology, you'll know that when you contract the diaphragm muscle, it goes down and forces airs into the lungs. So pull it down further, more air goes into your lungs.
Just a bit pitch and a bit shaky. Put some more vibrato to the ending notes, control your breathing the the entrance notes will sound much better. As for your accent, just watch showcase music show and read the lyrics at the bottom, it works a charm.
she sang this? where can i find the original mp3?

Jang Ri In uses her lungs to sing? How do you use the lungs to sing? Can you teach me?

You've got potential, just train some more.

thanks...but after relistening to this, I did a bad job. I don't think this is my song to sing...
makaronid 4 years ago
hmm, you can't sing the chorus coz it needs lots of power, maybe you should try BoA's songs or maybe Chae Yeon..these type
hydemegumi4ever 4 years ago
I did sang Everlasting by Boa. I've never sang Chae Yeon's songs before. Any recommendations?
makaronid 4 years ago
Chae Yeon's voice is really soft, so i think it suits you, hmm, I don't know what's her ballad title but i do have some hehe.
