i have a red ec-1000 deluxe that looks EXACTLY like mike's. same inlays, toggle switch, tone/volume knobs etc. only my knobs are granite, and theres a gem encrusted trim on the body. oh and my headstock matches the body, like that red with the trim

When do they say they got the best metal tone ever? Picky fuckers..It's a guitar lesson not a 'listen to us we got the guitar best tone ever' lesson. It's just that one note that gives it that Frantic sound. Pray For Villians is an amazing album. It stands alone. If your tuner is only gonna tune to E then use put a cappo on like the 2nd fret to tighten the notes and trick your tuner.

You probably have a standard guitar tuner that only registers E-A-D-G-B-E. You need a chromatic tuner to do this. Or just tune your guitar by ear based on the 3rd fret of your A string, because that note is in fact a C.

Lamb of God uses Seymour Duncan Pickups. However, they are the '59s which are made to sound just like old Gibson PAF pickups, so BurstBuckers would get their tone well.

I know that Judas Priest used EMG's on the albums Jugulator, Demolition, Angel of Retribution, and Nostradamus and their tone sounds very unique, IMO. Well, Glenn Tipton's been using EMG's since probably '82, but their tone sounded ordinary for the time before those albums I stated.

I know what you mean. Not too long ago I was in an argument with a guy that said you couldn't tune thick strings a half step down and he didn't know that HSD also means Eb and D#. After showing him his ignorance he went apeshit lol.

On ERGs I find people's ignorance even more blatant.. "Why would you want that? tune down!" Yeah then lose your high register.. and then there are those that will get an ERG and only use 3 strings...
