I don't trust my government anymore than most, but there is a point where you have to ask yourself if they are totally at fault, and fabricating things beyond reason. Has there been terrorist attacks in North America? Absolutely. Is there a problem with drugs in North America? Is there organized crime? Absolutely.

It's easier to find blame instead of solutions.

@kolkrabe19 Firstly, I'm Canadian. Not my gov't. Do I feel that weaknesses were exposed from 9/11? Absolutely. People now complain about extended screenings at airports. Is this nessesary? Sadly, yes. Drug dogs cause false positive hits? Possible, if one was smoking pot but does not possess any, and the dog hits on the aroma. Terrorism is absolutely still an issue, regardless of if it's overseas, or selling drugs, prostitution, and these monies being used to fund such organizations.
