Thanks to Cute Knut of Zoo Berlin fame I have grown to love bears (especially him). He is as adorable as ever and can be viewed on YOUTUBE & WEBSHOTS. I gather that researchers now consider them as intelligent as the great apes which makes them more intelligent than many people. All bears should be given a wide berth and avoided in the open woods. They suffer premature deaths at the hands of humans constantly. Bears deserve respect and protection.
