rank doesnt have much to do with it because most of the GOW3 players are players who have played GOW1+2 so they have the nack of the guns anyway but yeh sometimes the lower ranked players are completely new the GOW gameplay and just get owned

I don't quite get the sudden change from unlocking characters the fun way to the whole level thing. I liked getting my classic characters off of previous games, the new style smashes a bit reward for veteran gears players.

That probably has something to do with the fact that you guys were one group, and they were obviously two (see the stars on the map vote screen). Even higher rank people can play like idiots.
