The last BV I rode in was a Shark BV, from Turners Lane,Wakefield to Neville Hill Depot, Leeds at 1300hrs, 20th December 1991.
These vans were very rough riders and were not popular with guards.
The only good thing about these vans was getting out of them in one piece and going home.They had a ver warm coal fired stove, which at 35mph would glow cerry red and boil your can of water for you tea.
