To replicate that scene, do the following:

1. Tell the prisoner/Alistair that you're waiting for Leliana and Wynne, in that order.

2. You will be controlling Leliana. Switch to Wynne and run to the guards.

3. Bluff your way in (either one can do it).

I only experimented for a few minutes, but it seems like Wynne has to be in the second party slot for her to disappear in that cutscene.
