  • Cheers, Mate. There is definantly a reason why this has not gotten any dislikes. Great work.

  • And this is why the bass is the best instrument...=D

  • GOD HAS SPOKEN!!! xD

  • tutorial please?

  • lol dude may i know all the chords that you've been using from the first part through all the other 2nd and 3rd part of the video that you've recorded? please?

  • I don't care what anyone has to say, this gets more amazing every time I watch/listen to it.

  • Are you in D?

  • @NightXemnas I'm tuned Bb Eb Ab Db from low to high, so I'm playing the song in Ab in this arrangement.

  • @BillW87 Wow.What gauge strings do you have? Do you set your action high to compensate for the tension? That's a ridiculously low tuning! =)

  • @NightXemnas I'm using piccolo gauge strings, which are very light gauge strings for a bass which allows you to tune your instrument to a wide range of tunings above standard tuning without having to make serious adjustments to the action. The set is 0.020, 0.032, 0.042, and .052 gauge. Most piccolo gauge sets go for around $20 online and last surprisingly long, so they're a pretty cheap investment to open up a whole new range of sound for your instrument.

  • @BillW87 Wow, I'm a complete idiot and thought you had down-tuned your bass for a moment. Thanks for clearing that up. Great playing!

  • Good work, the intro was deceiving. Fair play.

  • first i thougt.BORING but in the middle I LOVED IT!!!!!

  • meraviglioso

  • A bass is like a piano, with 120 keys.c",)

  • Respekt! One of best verision!!!!

  • LOVELY!!!!!!

  • wow!!! you are really blessed!!! i want to know how to play that too!!! it was really amazing

  • Are the high notes also from your bass? I would appreciate tabs. Good Job. Thanks

  • @barneypwnedyou Thanks for watching! I recorded three parts which are all layered in this video, but all three parts are all recorded on bass guitars using piccolo-gauge strings. I unfortunately haven't had time to put together tabs for any of my videos yet but I will try to once things calm down a bit for me (working two jobs and studying for a major standardized test for grad school at the moment).

  • @BillW87 This is beautiful. How long did it take you to perfect this?

  • This is absoutely phenomenal!

Well in mate, fantastic talent on the bass!

  • how are you able to get the sound from the tapping? What amp are you using and what kind of pedal?

  • @cruzsanta03 I'm not using an amp or pedals, just direct input into garageband with a concert hall reverb effect thrown on top through garageband to give the tone a bit more body. My bass also has active electronics so I'm able to EQ pretty well on the instrument which helps me keep the setup simple. To get a clean tapping tone try to focus on being firm and deliberate, you have to use enough strength to make the note ring out cleanly but not so much that it sounds rough.

  • WHOA FANTASTIC !!! SHARE IT EVERYWHERE IT NEEDS TO GET KNOWN

  • amazing!!

  • Nice :)

  • Awesome cover man

  • Excellent work, enjoyed!

  • are you jesus christ oh my god u r fucking amazing

  • That's incredible! WOW!

  • the best!

  • WOW! THIS VIDEO NEED MANY MORE VIEWS!

  • Is the Bass piccolo tuned. And can it be done with a regular tuned guitar.

  • @jubilee918 Yes, I am playing this song piccolo tuned. However, I am still tuned in fourths so this song could be played with the same fingerings on a regular tuned bass guitar or guitar.

  • F My Life i give up on playing this song -.-;

  • @xBlaze725x Don't give up! This is a very challenging song but if you work at it it's definitely worth the work. Try learning the song in smaller sections at half speed, and as you get more comfortable with the technique you can slowly increase the tempo and put the pieces together. Classical music is a great opportunity to work on both your speed and your technique, and learning music that you find challenging is important if you want to keep improving as a musician.

  • you should give me the tab!

  • Wonderfull..!

  • Very, very nice!

  • @midrambler13 Thanks!

  • this is good dude, i really like the arrangement and your use of the bass on the back-track

  • @bassmasta1297 Thanks, I appreciate it!
