  • This is a terrible design and will not work. The apparent wind angle is not equal to that of boats. Due to the high rotation speed the wind always comes from the front of the profile. This is called the apparent wind angle. You have to design for 'vent debout' during the entire rotation. This angle is between 1 and 8 degrees usually.

  • I had the same idea a few nonth ago, but I did not know how to realize it.

  • Waaaaay too complicated to be economical. Not to mention reliable.

  • heil swastika

  • blade design is a big FAIL in my opinion. Anyone who has studied fluid mechanics knows that a blade with a cupped design will harness more energy than a flat blade, it's basic physics.. geez there are derived formulas that prove this.

  • @RGthunderclap No this is not a violation because my patent has a feathering of the blades as the other patent does not possess.

  • @traderpierre did u patented blades? because our patent is blade independent.

  • @RGthunderclap

Nous avons obtenu un brevet de l'INPI Institut National de la Propriété industrielle

  • This is great idea, tres bon! (correct if needed), but does it assume a constant wind velocity (magnitude/direction)? If either were to vary, it seemingly would not operate very efficiently, perhaps you have some sort of means of combating these issues?

  • The idea is great.. but how does it work in case the wind has different directions during the day or the month... does it adjust to the wind direction automatically?.. how good is the stability of that blades in case of high wind speed... thx

  • @traderpierre with a tale wing, like normal eolic turbine.

  • @traderpierre

What amount of power can be obtained by this design, per weight or volume of the device, for let´s say 10,20,30,40 KPH of wind speed ? How does it compare to more traditional designs? Is there any generator based on this design already in the market ? If so , what prices and at what power per wind speed ?

  • Ok, I watched the presentation at eolprocess-com. I kind of understand written French. It looks like a do it yourself project-idea to tinker about, have fun doing it and no bother to pay royalties.

  • It's like a sailingship...thumbs up

  • Vraiment ingénieux, mais comment la réaliser à titre personnel ?

    merci

  • @ibercaracole J'adore L'idee , i had a similar Idea but used gears instead. I wish you much success. See my video if you have any comments. "VAWT, Simple easy to build, powerful" thanks

  • The weather vane will cause the blades in real time because it controls the axis on which are mounted gears master used to rotate the blades

  • what ll happen if wind come from anothger direction?

  • @kreuzundquer Das ist echt ne gute Frage...

  • Perfect - great use of vectors! are the blades angled correctly through a gearing mechanism?

  • yes the blades are mechanically subservient to the rotation of the rotor and the vane.

  • thanks - love it. lots of moving parts though. better for low wind?

  • Very good design. The ultimate.
