I think people get upset with christianity and some other Abrahamic-derived religions because these religions advocate destruction/damnation of anyone that disagrees with them. That's hard to ignore. It is hard not to take offense when a body of people (a very loud and influential body at this time) proclaim your destruction if you disagree with them. You mentioned we must transform and let it go. We have to look at their beliefs as ones that make us stronger in our own individual beliefs.

For me, I don't care what anyone says about me. They can claim I'm going to Hell - I choose to ignore them and not to believe them. I don't look to anyone to make me stronger in my own beliefs. @adoptedbyapopmachine We all have both positive and negative within us. I personally strive to maintain a balance in my own life. However, if I were feeling as you are ... and I have in my past due to the circumstances I found myself in (I was a royal bitch) ... I would do some 'soul searching' and find out why I felt the way I did in each of the situations where I say horrible things. There is a reason why you feel/say/do these things and until you heal that part of yourself it is my belief ...

Your video was very informative. However, I have seen Venussatanas on Youtube as well. Do you know what I'm talking about? She a spiritual satanist and she does witchcraft and invoke the name like lillith, lucifer, baptomet, bazel and so forth while the Wiccans invoke the Gods and Goddess. And on the Pentagram, one is uprise for Pagan and the other is inverted for Satanism. I'm so confused here. Can one be a Wiccan or Pagan and Theistic Satanist at the same time? Do they respect each other?
@dmana3172 I don't know who Venussatanas is. But there are instances where the inverted pentagram is used in Wicca and there may be times when a Wiccan may invoke names such as Lilith and Lucifer depending on the individual Wiccan. I don't know enough about Theistic Satanism to give an honest opinion on whether someone could merge the two religions. However I know individuals who are Satanist and I respect their beliefs. It doesn't mean I believe the same as they do but I do respect them.

@SariaSchala Oh yes. There is. Satanism is a group of religions that have a diverse number of beliefs. They include a symbolic association with and an admiration for Satan and liberating characters. These religions include: LaVeyan Satanism, Symbolic Satanism, Luciferianism, Palladists, Our Lady of Endor Coven and I am sure there are other cults that can be included in this list. I have been friends with individuals who were Satanists and who are currently following a Left Handed path.
I completely agree with you. God is in all of us, and loves all of us eternally. I am a Pagan and I know several nice Christians.
For me, God has come in the form of a Supreme Goddess, five Faery Queens, and (just recently) a patron cat god (because I LOVE cats).
However, just because someone doesn't see God the same way doesn't mean they are loved any less! All religions preach kindness and love. If we all follow that, our world will be a better place.

You're right. I'm a Christian, and I've forgotten how to forgive others, especially fellow Christians. I feel like I've been used up and deceived by them. I am filled with hatred for other people much of the time and it's eating me alive. Thank you for reminding me how important it is spiritually to forgive other people.

Actually, I was an Atheist who prayed to a Loving God (Agnostic) everynight (almost). God finally helped me understand where He's set me today (Believer of Jesus as Messiah). I realized I knew very little about the bible as you say. I grew up around a mother/father who did not allow me to watch the bible channel on sundays when I was younger.

One thing I have discovered is that it is not strong feelings about one's own beliefs that sparks intolerance, but lack of confidence in them. If someone has faith in their own path, they feel no need either to convert or to disrespect any other faith. You are a prime example of a person who is sure of their own path and beliefs and therefore has no fear and therefore no hatred towards any other path.
@Steeleperfect I agree with this idea as well. This is why I strongly urge my students to build their own beliefs and consider why they feel the way that they do. It allows them to have a strong foundation to build upon.

I agree with you. As a Christian druid, I spend a lot of time defending Pagans to Christians and Christians to Pagans. There are bigots on both sides and all bigotry springs from ignorance and fear.

The definition of rage (as I understand it) is a violent and uncontrolled anger or wrath. And my understanding is that anger and wrath originate in fear. I know it's naive of me, but I'd love it if we could all just get along. I don't consider myself a Pagan, but I definitely love things about the religion. I have several friends who are Pagan, and my brother. For as long as I can remember I have felt that religion is a very personal thing, and no one should be made to feel wrong or ashamed by what they believe and what provides them comfort in life. Very good video!

No one should listen to another's opinion of your own beliefs because what is right and true for you many not be right and true for someone else. Comparing ourselves to others will always make you feel badly. There is no comparison to be made. We are unique individuals living our own life experiences. Be true to yourself and allow others to do the same.
I definitely agree with you on this subject and I thank you for making this video. There is a lot of stereotyping and negativity coming from both Pagans and Christians and I feel like a lot of it has to with ignorance and some bad encounters with either religion, yet this cannot be applied to every single person of a certain religion or spirituality because that is unfair and is logically incorrect. Fear is being instilled into us from all angles, no one is "safe" from fear at all :( The USA in general is not tolerant of others whther in religion or race or sexuality etc, The same goes for other countries aswell. Great video am really enjoying it,paused it right now at the 13:49 mark, I was wondering something : I feel that I am essentially a negative force,or maintain a very negative force inside of me,while I feel I have great love to offer and compassion for others and animals, I am also very resentful and angry and i sometimes go off and I say horrible things and am easily shaken,sometimes i feel like it wold be unnatural for me to be any other way,that negativity is a part of me. Your thoughts?

@adoptedbyapopmachine We all have both positive and negative within us. I personally strive to maintain a balance in my own life. However, if I were feeling as you are ... and I have in my past due to the circumstances I found myself in (I was a royal bitch) ... I would do some 'soul searching' and find out why I felt the way I did in each of the situations where I say horrible things. There is a reason why you feel/say/do these things and until you heal that part of yourself it is my belief ...

@momcalzmesheri ... that you will continue to do so. It may not be comfortable for you to let go of this negativity as it may shield you from things that you are fearful of. Perhaps you are afraid of getting hurt by others, by circumstances, perhaps you are afraid of being disappointed or betrayed. There are as many different reasons as there are many different individuals.
I believe you DO have great compassion and are a healing force. I believe that you have a wound that needs healing.

Your video was very informative. However, I have seen Venussatanas on Youtube as well. Do you know what I'm talking about? She a spiritual satanist and she does witchcraft and invoke the name like lillith, lucifer, baptomet, bazel and so forth while the Wiccans invoke the Gods and Goddess. And on the Pentagram, one is uprise for Pagan and the other is inverted for Satanism. I'm so confused here. Can one be a Wiccan or Pagan and Theistic Satanist at the same time? Do they respect each other?

@dmana3172 I don't know who Venussatanas is. But there are instances where the inverted pentagram is used in Wicca and there may be times when a Wiccan may invoke names such as Lilith and Lucifer depending on the individual Wiccan. I don't know enough about Theistic Satanism to give an honest opinion on whether someone could merge the two religions. However I know individuals who are Satanist and I respect their beliefs. It doesn't mean I believe the same as they do but I do respect them.

@SariaSchala Oh yes. There is. Satanism is a group of religions that have a diverse number of beliefs. They include a symbolic association with and an admiration for Satan and liberating characters. These religions include: LaVeyan Satanism, Symbolic Satanism, Luciferianism, Palladists, Our Lady of Endor Coven and I am sure there are other cults that can be included in this list. I have been friends with individuals who were Satanists and who are currently following a Left Handed path.

I completely agree with you. God is in all of us, and loves all of us eternally. I am a Pagan and I know several nice Christians.
For me, God has come in the form of a Supreme Goddess, five Faery Queens, and (just recently) a patron cat god (because I LOVE cats).
However, just because someone doesn't see God the same way doesn't mean they are loved any less! All religions preach kindness and love. If we all follow that, our world will be a better place.

You're right. I'm a Christian, and I've forgotten how to forgive others, especially fellow Christians. I feel like I've been used up and deceived by them. I am filled with hatred for other people much of the time and it's eating me alive. Thank you for reminding me how important it is spiritually to forgive other people.

Wow. So the gist of that constant ranting was that Christianity is evil and hateful, and that the proper response to Christianity is to be hurtful and hateful, and if you aren't being hurtful and hateful, then you are just like a Christian?
That doesn't make much sense. Perhaps being hateful and hurtful is more in line with the people you're complaining about then projecting love.

Actually, I was an Atheist who prayed to a Loving God (Agnostic) everynight (almost). God finally helped me understand where He's set me today (Believer of Jesus as Messiah). I realized I knew very little about the bible as you say. I grew up around a mother/father who did not allow me to watch the bible channel on sundays when I was younger.

One thing I have discovered is that it is not strong feelings about one's own beliefs that sparks intolerance, but lack of confidence in them. If someone has faith in their own path, they feel no need either to convert or to disrespect any other faith. You are a prime example of a person who is sure of their own path and beliefs and therefore has no fear and therefore no hatred towards any other path.

I also believe in tolerance, and think a lot gets miscommunicated in definitions- especially the definition of rage- to me it's a very high vibrational force that allows focus and philosophical development. The problem is we don't have the choice to "walk away" or ignore when christians take their beliefs to the voting booth, or when the head of the catholic church determines the beliefs and atttidudes of millions. I understand the belief that rage is a powerful emotion of focus. I personally don't believe it's a high vibrational. The definition of rage (as I understand it) is a violent and uncontrolled anger or wrath. And my understanding is that anger and wrath originate in fear. And as I said fear is in opposition with love.

I know it's naive of me, but I'd love it if we could all just get along. I don't consider myself a Pagan, but I definitely love things about the religion. I have several friends who are Pagan, and my brother. For as long as I can remember I have felt that religion is a very personal thing, and no one should be made to feel wrong or ashamed by what they believe and what provides them comfort in life. No one should listen to another's opinion of your own beliefs because what is right and true for you many not be right and true for someone else. Comparing ourselves to others will always make you feel badly. There is no comparison to be made. We are unique individuals living our own life experiences. Be true to yourself and allow others to do the same.

I definitely agree with you on this subject and I thank you for making this video. There is a lot of stereotyping and negativity coming from both Pagans and Christians and I feel like a lot of it has to with ignorance and some bad encounters with either religion, yet this cannot be applied to every single person of a certain religion or spirituality because that is unfair and is logically incorrect. Thank you for this video. :)

Wonderful video. I too come from a very similar background. And unfortunately have been burned by "spiritual" people. I agree that it is so important to forgive and release those people in order to advance in your own spirituality and evolve as a human. Blessings to you and your family

Thank you for sharing your views on this!! Its so hard to love one another, feel love, be loving an tolerant of others etc and not feel fear when its all around us. Fear is being instilled into us from all angles, no one is "safe" from fear at all :( The USA in general is not tolerant of others whther in religion or race or sexuality etc, The same goes for other countries aswell. I think the world needs to be more tolerant of religin, sex, sexual orientation etc :) WE NEED LOVE !!

@tatulover01 I completely agree. I do my best to spread love however I find there are so many who are not accepting or find it difficult to believe that I am about love.
There is so much fear and it is propagated by so may industries and media. All one has to do is watch the news or TV programs or read the newspaper - which is why our home has been without both for over 7 years now.
