Great memories, but I bet I looked like a right dick in my zoot suit and puffed up hair. Love to go back in time to those days, my wardrobe would be fashionable again haha.
I think he's singing about another kind of pipe. Two girls on the cover. Get up, get up kind of alludes to The Time's 'Get it Up'. Do whatever feels good was the mantra of the 1970s sexual revolution. And he does say "I'm in heat" at the beginning of the song. Lots of sexual innuendos which a lot of the 80s funk was full of. Lots was left to the imagination.
